Supporter Survey (page 1 of 4)
Your hard work and passion have defined this movement for change.
Now you can shape the next phase of our extraordinary effort by sharing your campaign experience and ideas about the future.
Take a few minutes to complete this short survey (4 pages).
There are a few questions about you, your work with the campaign, and your interactions with this organization. At the end, you will also have an opportunity to share any thoughts you have that aren't covered by the questions:

The first page is a databasing page.
People who volunteered for the campaign get more questions than people who did not. I registered several people to vote... so I guess I volunteered for every campaign. *wink*
On page 3, we're asked what issues "we" want to work on. You can choose "other" and write in your issues.
On page 4, you can tell them anything that is important to you.
Ah yes. The focus-grouping of Clinton III begins.
Our issues will just get thrown out. They will triage the answers based on the value to the donks of the particular demographic. Some are more equal.
Here is the advantage of the shift to technology. We can all participate this time.
So? You just may say the right thing to get some lowly staffer thinking....
I really get the feeling that only supporters of Obama have opinions about the future of the country, don't you?
I'm only able to get page one. It appears that I must be sent the survey to access it.
If you don’t skip any fields, you can continue. i’ve tested it with fake stuff.
Obama did have a web-site that ask for suggestions. Do not remember the site. Did send him my thoughts and basically told him that government was the problem and not the solution. Cut taxes, reduce size of government, balanced budgets and on and on. To date, no reply. Do not expect one. Maybe a brownshirt will knock on my door one day. Will let you know.
Conservatism is best suited to a representative republic.
Conservatism does not survive in a direct democracy in real or perceived crisis.
Yea only filling out the required fields. If Obama wants my other info he's gonna have to work for it, not just have me give it up.
I wonder if anyone will notice the +zerobama tagged onto my gmail address :)
Would you like to continue to volunteer in your community as part of an Obama organization?:
Definitely not. wouldn’t want to be a part of his “police force”.
If other, please list the issues that most concern you:
need to drill for oil, return to constitutional government, lowering of all taxes to create a better business environment-perhaps the fair tax proposal, return to free market standards-no bailouts, not leaving Iraq or Afghanistan until they are stable
OPTIONAL: How would you like to see this organization move forward in the months and years ahead? And how would you like to be engaged as a volunteer and organizer?:
I am more concerned with his presidency than his organization. Would like for him to lower taxes for all and make those that receive money now pay their fair share instead. Would also like for him to finish what has been started in Iraq and Afghanistan rather than leave them to suffer on their own. I would like to see him return us to a constitutional form of government rather than sidestep it for the benefit of a few. Do not redistribute our wealth, instead create an atmosphere where we can all prosper on our own through hard work. We need to drill for oil here now and allow coal and nuclear to be used more. Then we can work on future methods of power. There is much more that needs to be done. He has a difficult job ahead of him and I shall be praying for him.
Donk staffers think? Do they think about anything other than how they can get peer points for making some control freak’s wet dream come true?
They would be more likely to co-opt the language and torture the policy to make it appear they had included *centrist* issues. Trust me: conservative issues cause an automatic gag reflex among the left, followed by venting a string of curses aimed at the nearest conservative. No leftist staffer would risk that. It is social and career suicide.
I am sure reasoned responses like yours will be read despite some folks opinions.
If you wish to send your ideas to Obama, go to Change.gov. I did. Was that good or bad on my part? Time will tell.
If you wish to send your ideas to Obama go to Change.gov. I did and you know what I sent. Small government etc etc.
Whatever happens, we need to force him to be president to all of us, not just his pet constituency. He’s different than Clinton: He actually seems to be interested in doing the job.
I am reminded that Reagan went into office pro-abortion (if the mother needed it for physical or mental reasons), and only changed his position after learning both sides of the debate.
It is neither good nor bad, IMO. It is, again, IMO, a waste of time.
YMMV
