In Sept., when banks asked for money, I opposed it. I thought that the bailout would start a bad precedent and that, if that bill was passed, many more failing companies would ask the federal government for money. I’m surprised that I was right only about six weeks later. I thought that it would take a few months for other companies to ask for money, from the federal government.
How in the hell can we be advancing as a nation and as a world when the so called “intelligent” folks keep coming up with ideas that send us back to the 18th Century?
