After much speculation that his failed presidential bid would be his last campaign, Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) has decided to run for re-election to his Senate seat in 2010.

The political paradigm has changed, the Reid, Pelosi, Obama democrats bear little difference from Communists, any Republican willing to help them has to be out of their mind.

Conceding that we have to be center-right is exactly what they want us to do, center-right in todays terms is like a 1950’s democrat. If we let the enemy define the playing field we have lost before we started, it’s exactly what they want.

We need to start a RINO PROJECT here and identify conservatives who will go against the plaid pants RINO’s. If the “moderates” want to vote for a Communist party, let them.

We need a candidate for sure. Let’s keep it a secret until the right moment so they won’t have time to destroy them before they get started.

I don’t know where to begin the critical problems this party has with fighting the opposition. They lost their balls in late ‘95 with the gov’t “shutdown” showdown and never got it back. For all the bashing of Bob Dole, which I thought was undeserved, I remember when he boldly said, “We’re gonna CUT Clinton’s term in half,” back in ‘94. McCain couldn’t utter such a phrase to save his life.

As for Conservative primary challengers, we may need to form a separate grassroots movement that has proved successful for the rodents, and literally force the party back to the right. If they are unwilling to stand up against the Marxist element that now has a deathgrip on the Democrats, they need to get the hell out of the way. And I mean not even waiting for the next election. Resign now. I’m not interested in seeing handholding with the bad guys. We need to get as vocal and as outraged as the anti-Bush people have been over the last 8 years.

BTW, did you guys see a Code Pink member holding up a sign today during the Senate hearing on the auto industry bailout ? It read “No Corporate Welfare !” How bad has it gotten when the moonbats are RIGHT on an issue and our elected officials are ignoring us ?

If McCain stands up to the False Messiah and becomes a Conservative, he’ll deserve another term. In other words, he’s got to be something he isn’t. McCain may give him cover, in which case, replacing him with Butch won’t make any difference, since at least she openly declares herself a Democrat and can’t inflict maximum damage to the GOP from within. As I said, he ought to just resign now. It’ll be the best thing he ever did for the Conservative movement.

Absolutely, we basically have Communists in charge of America, if they are too weak to fight them they need to go away, these are no run of the mill democrats who he have small disagreements with.

We need to have a RINO project, one of the big conservative repositories need to get behind it, someone like the Heritage Organization. We could use a RINO Project here too, let conservatives know they will be supported by the grass roots if they take on RINO’S in primaries.

NO I don’t want him to run.
All of our old men get beaten eventually. McCain will lose if he runs again. The rats will see to it. Maybe he will switch to the RATS and run as a RAT. That is what he should do instead of hanging around and torturing us.

I never thought I would pull the lever for him, but I did. I needed a giant clothespin. Ol’ McCain is a traitor and will be a thorn in our sides for a long time. He is an old fart who married money and needs a job to feel important.

I would like to see Shaddegg challenge him for his seat. I don’t know if he would want to chance losing a safe seat, but I’m tired of no one ever challenging McCain; it allows him to get away with his cross-aisle actions.

I’d like to see JD run for Governor, but I wouldn’t be upset if he ran for senator.

Why do you automatically assume Napolitano would win against another Republican? She only won governor IMHO because no one ran a decent campaign against her.

Well I can tell you Franks certainly didn’t vote for the bailout and he is a very involved congressman, regularly hold telephone townhalls where he has hundreds of us on the line at one time and he answers questions, but I don’t think he has the name recognition and his wife just had twins, I don’t know that he wants to spend the time required away from his young family.

I’d be surprised if Hayworth runs for office again. His inauspicious loss in ‘06 seems to have permanently killed his political career. I’d add, too, his constituent services were terrible. I wrote to his office several times and never got a response ever. Even Pastor’s and Grijalva’s people responded promptly to inquiries, and I’m not even an AZ resident.

I’m glad to hear Franks is above average, which means he has a better voting record than the 2 remaining R Congressmembers (as of January). I can understand if he doesn’t want to drag his family through the mess of an ugly primary challenge. We saw what the media pigs did to smear the Palin family.

And the chances of that happening are...

Oh wait, this is Juan McCain we're talking about here!

maximum damage to the GOP from within.

McCain must be defeated in 2010 at all costs.

We need the center-rightists.

One tiny problem: McCain isn't a center-rightist. He's a Democrat.

“I think your comment is inappropriate.”

That’s too bad. McCain is a loser that was foisted upon us by liberals. I hope we never have to see the Maverick again. He is a disgrace. He ran the worst campaign in history.
