Hmmmm... with the messiah’s election, could they be jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire?

It certainly isn’t a precedent in law the Commies would want to see established. It could cause complications for the Messiah.

” . . . with the messiah’s election, could they be jumping out of the frying pan and into the fire?”

Yes, our wonderings as well.

We home school (almost 27 years and continuing) and we wonder what the Obumba pans for a “Civilian Defense Force” will have to say about home school young people of high school age.

We have already written letters to our federal, state, and local elected officials about this matter, since America's “Nazi Youth League” has already been proposed and promoted publicly.

It is time for all of us to send a clarion “NO!” to the ‘O’ — we will not go! I can envision, as part of the Civilian Defense Force scheme, an direct attack upon home school families, and it will be based on the same sick logic as the current laws in Germany.

There have been in the past, here on FR, rank criticism of home schooling. I can see “conservatives” NOT standing with home school families on this issue, but instead taking a position in favor of forcing home school children out of their homes with the rest.

One of the principles on which we home school is the strengthening of the family unit itself. With all the talk about the sodomites and their “marriages” in California and elsewhere, there is precious little talk of strengthening the traditional family unit (I mean as a concept). We believe strong family units promote the strength of the nation as a whole.

When families deliberately and willingly devote their time to any form of public service, that is very good. We do that through various church ministries. Our children are all involved.

When young people are forced by government out of the home to “serve” (and to be indoctrinated and brain-washed) in programs designed by government, this is a different beast altogether. This is a direct attack on liberty.

I will refuse, too, to have to use the church service of my children to justify to some government board (something like a draft board) why my children should not be forced to serve in the government program. The whole scenario would be a direct attack on our liberties.

Government may suggest and encourage the citizenry to find avenues of public service on their own (an let elected officials and their families lead by example), but they have no place in creating the programs and then forcing us into those programs.

We need to communicate NOW to our elected officials, BEFORE they draft, debate, and pass the legislation, that we will not send our children into their forced public service programs. START WRITING THE LETTERS AND MAKING THE PHONE CALLS NOW.
