Sorry. I’m not going to defend Catholics on this one.

I don’t know the breakdown, but clearly catholics tend to favor Democrats and there is no question where the Democratic party stands on abortion.

Perhaps the majority are pro-life. But it evidently doesn’t rank as a primary concern for all of them.

Not saying they should have voted McCain. He’s an apolgetic pro-lifer IF he’s one but there is the option of neither.

I agree, and I think that most Catholics on FR (myself included) are somewhat insulated from what the more secular Catholics believe.

People who do not conform to Church Doctrine on such things as abortion are actually not Catholics, they just pretend they are Catholics.
