Hypocrite: ESPN Prettyboy Calls Non-Obama Voters "Racist" (Free Republic mentioned)

But apparently, the bigotry of his own employer was lost on ESPN prettyboy Chris Fowler. The "College Game Day" broadcaster announced to viewers that if you didn't vote for Barack Obama, you won't hire a Black coach. In other words, if you didn't vote for Obama, you're a racist.

"I would hire Tony Dungy (in a heartbeat) or Lovie Smith.

Because of their coaching ability and record, not because of the color of their skin."

I'm a biased Pittsburgh Steelers fan, but I think you would have to include Mike Tomlin in that group. So far in his short tenure as a headcoach (1.5 seasons) I think he's shown that he can be a head coach at the NFL level. We in Pittsburgh also love Tony Dungy. He played for the Steelers during the Superbowl 70's teams and Chuck Noll hired him onto his first coaching position after he retired from the NFL.

I wouldn’t hire Herm Edwards, Ty Willingham, or Marvin Lewis.

I doubt I would hire Art Shell aga---oh, wait that happened.

Keep in mind that many of the talking heads on *any* news show, understand little more than what's flashed in front of them on a teleprompter.

I'm not making excuses for this lamebrained idiot (or many others on TV that I've had a hard time stomaching lately) ....just saying that we should remember that if an original thought ever crossed this doofus' mind, it would die of loneliness. The MSM has degenerated into little more than beautifully plumed parrots. Murrow, Swayze, likey could be used as an alternative power source as they spin in their graves.

Well, Mr. Fowler, it looks like much of Bush’s foreign policy will stay pretty much the same under an Obama presidency. Will you and your blind ilk still want him for the job if the *change* doesn’t happen to your liking?

As far as coaches, if they’re not worth a flip, they’re not worth hiring, no matter their color.

They also have a woman or an in betweener doing play by play, usually of the Wisconsin games. “Her” voice was so awful, I dashed to turn the sound off. They showed “her” on camera. It's either the world's ugliest woman or somebody in transition.

That would be ESPN's Pam Ward. While I don't know for sure, I believe Pam is a proverbial muncher of rugs (not that there's anything wrong with that).

While I'm thinking of it, that would be a fun drinking game. Get some friends together, get some beer, and play "Spot the Affirmative Action Hire". It's easy: pick a news channel and the first one that spots the affirmative action hire gets to drink! :)

I don’t watch ESPN, but I thought you might be interested to know that Chris Fowler called McCain voters racists. Odds that there’ll be any consequences for him?

Yet, the FR College Football Ping List is still going strong.

(Yes, that was self promotion at its most shameless.)

Some people have accused Suzy Kolber of being a carpet mucher too. I’m not sure about that though.

Even if she is, she’s at least a hot-looking carpet mucncher.

90% of the folks on ESPN are morons anyway (including their Sportschick Barbie clones).

I do love me some Erin Andrews.

Pam Ward.

There is no worse curse in CFB than to have Pam Ward doing play-by-play for your game. Only she can hose up, "And CJ SPILLER IS GOOOONE!!!" so badly that it makes me turn down the volume.

Is this the same ESPN that is cramming Obama down the throats of viewers by doing story after story promoting Obama’s hip view on the BCS and the desire for a playoff????? More money for ESPN. Obama has been really smart about this. He’s trying to woo middle-of-the-roaders who don’t like him by showing he’s on their side. It’s a popular issue. My problem with Obama saying anything about the BCS is that the GOVERNMENT should not have anything to do with this. The next thing you know, politicians will be setting the rules. And the Chicago Mafia.

I wonder if Chris Fowler feels the same about whites who voted for Alan Keyes. I bet Chris didn’t vote for Ambassador Keyes. And he’s far more accomplished than Barack Obama.

We need to hire more black game day college analysts.

Ty Willingham needs another job and he knows a lot more about football than Chris Fowler.
