“Your time on the mound may be coming sooner than you think.”
Let’s hope not. That scenario would tear the country apart, possibly leading to armed conflict.
Even in the best-case scenario the conservatives would get blamed for keeping The Messiah out of the presidency and be out of power for the next several decades.
If that bit of fear-mongering is what prevents folks from following the Constitution, again, the republic is dead.
I’m rather shocked, frankly, at how many FReepers seem to be ready to just roll over on their backs. Acting like Republicans, not conservative patriots who take the Constitution seriously.
Gore already did that.

Obama is unfortunately not a natural born citizen of the USA. Will anything be done about it? I doubt it. Who would do it. Does the phrase “there is no controlling authority” sound familiar. The Supreme court won't want to touch this with a ten foot pole, although they have apparently (according to some sources) ordered Obama to produce it. Some sources say this is an urban legend.
If Obama is declared ineligible before Dec 15 then the electoral college could elect anybody they want, even someone that didn't run. I would suspect however that they would elect Hillary in this situation and then most Democrats will still be happy, but I think that would really hurt black loyalty to the Democratic party. The Democrats would try to blame it on Republicans but there are no Republican fingerprints on this, this has all the marking of a Clinton plot and Obama will know it for that.
Riots? You betcha!
I am not sure that Mr. Obama is even a citizen but I would rather see him serve than go through all this country will have to go through to in order to live by the Constitution. The sad thing is that Mr. Obama knows it and is doing his best with the help of the MSM to hide it until after electoral college votes. Once he is president who is going to throw him out. If Mr. Obama is not a citizen, and I don't think he is, it is only because of a technicality. If his mother would have filled out some paperwork after his return from Indonesia then there would likely not be a problem, unless he were born in Kenya which many people believe. Since he was a citizen of Indonesia he would have had to renounce that citizenship prior to his 18th birthday, this was apparently never done even though he may have been eligible to do so. So, will the Supremes let a little piece of Paper that our poor unsuspecting minor child did not even know about keep him from being president. If not what will keep others who are not natural born from trying the same thing? They will say, if I could have I would have been born here. Isn't that good enough?
It's gonna be a bad day for the constitution.
If they insist on a black liberal, let them nominate Cynthia McKinney, who for all her ideological faults is AFAIK an American.
