Heat with wood. I can heat my house for the winter for about $500 with 5 cords of wood and about half a tank of oil. Wood can be as cheap as free if you work at it throughout the year. This year 5 cords cost me about $200 and about 2 solid weeks of manual labor.
When I used dryer sheets, I saved them after the laundry was finished and they work the same as “Swiffers” for dusting. I no longer use the sheets since I got a new washer with the softener dispenser. Now I use about one tsp of softener and fill the rest of the way up with water....I don’t see any difference. I also saved egg shells...my tomatoes love them for the protein. I also started seeds in half egg shells which also worked great!
