Hell, how much more expensive is WATER than gasoline when you buy it by the bottle? How much more is it than BEER? It’s insane.
World’s Collide! ;)
Yep. That’s the “recipe.” :)
Our crockpot holds enough chili to feed a family of 4 4 4 days...and all the wonderful smells of a home cooked meal... :-)
Proud of ya! I’ll be layering the crock pot with the ingredients for Pepper Steak for tomorrow’s supper.
2-3 lbs. or so of boneless venison chops (you can use beef if you have it)
A beer (the cheaper the better)
Pkg. of dry onion soup mix
Four chopped green/sweet red peppers, any combo
A chunky-chopped sweet onion
When I get home from work, I’ll add a can of cream-o-whatever soup to finish it off. Serve over rice.
Nothin’ better! :)
Bite me, ‘Plugs.’ ;)
mostly older women wear hose and women who don’t want to tan or wear short dresses and really want to look sharp.
Young women just don’t much from what I see.
dog walking and pet sitting!! I can do that.
And I am pretty old,,heh heh

(Brrrr... :-) )
“Hanging wet clothes outside may be entertaining, but not real effective.”
Actually it’s very effective. I used to dry clothes on a line during winter. The clothes will be stiff as a board, but they’ll be dry.
Don’t elect a Marxist president who will bankrupt the ecnomy and send us into a depression.
(wups ... too late)
What they don’t know, won’t hurt them. >:)
Do the same recipe with stewed tomatoes instead of a can of creamed soup. Thicken with a spot of flour, and cayenne to taste. Italianize it.
“But have you brewed enough BEER?”
No, but I used to do so. Great beer for about 1/3 of what it costs at the store. Plus it saves paying some beer taxes.
I should take it up again....
“Shower with a friend female friend that is no Spam and beans before hand.”
Be careful, though. Under the right circumstances it can make you late for work. :-)
I have some cotton sheets, unbleached that my husband’s granny gave to us when we married in 1965!! My favorite sheets. She crocheted a little piece on the end of them and it is intact. Over 40 years and good as anything you buy now.
I have read that Porthault sheets which retail for about five grand are handed down from generation to generation like linens used to be. I have a set of linen placemats that my grandmother gave my mother in 1930,,still gorgeous.
We used to iron the cotton sheets and cases,,I no longer do that having liberated myself from ironing!!!
I have so much crap — it makes me really happy when I can reuse something. I don’t like to shop because I just don’t want to bring any more “things” into my house unless I just flat out need it.
I’m not perfect at it, but I try. Cutting up the credit cards and not debting one day at a time has reduced my indebtedness (and interest payments) by over three thousand dollars over the last four months.
(Geez, REALLY? I must be overestimating, but I’ve knocked about a thousand off the credit card debt, actually more like fifteen hundred, a thousand off the car, over five hundred to my dentist, it really seems to be working.)
We are sharing ideas not forcing each other,,this is not the msm,,,,we are a fringe group of bitter bible graspers and gun owners.
“Add me to your list PLEASE !!!”
You’re on the list. If you want to look at previous threads, just search on keyword “survivingsocialism”
Those are some interesting ideas. Definitely good to have an extended family.
