In Ohio, you can buy a handgun at a gunshow and walk right out with it. No wait time. I don’t know the laws in NC, but you should look into it.
The gunshow we went to today was packed. Wall to Wall people. It would be very hard for a new gun buyer to make a choice. I highly recommend a neighborhood gun shop or a range. Either place can offer more info and hands on. The internet is great for info, but you still need to hold it to see if it is right for you.
There was a sign today at the gun show that if you voted for B. Hussein Obama, he would rather not sell to you. But if you wanted to buy from him it would be a 50% mark up and 500% tax!
Question for gun experts: are pellet rifles any good for defense? I figure they will help to slow down any criminals
What would be an interesting intellectual exercise would be to take the proposed 1022 bill list of banned firearms and the 500% excise tax increase and come up with projected price increased and restrictions ... just put them next to the current price for contrast.
Not that gun dealers really need to do a lot of marketing at this point....
Can’t get interest? Put something in my hands and it’ll be used quite well.
