This thing went FAST. I live in Simi and our town had burning last month. This thing had to be intentionally set. It started as a fire on a hillside along the freeway at 1031pm last night. For any of you police/fire junkies, you can read the order of call out, from 1031pm to now here, courtesy of sigalert.com

Everytime we get these firestorms, I say it again, there needs to be a death penalty for arson, period.

You might be right yet I hope not. The wind gusts sent big embers flying horizontally all night long. Ashes have been reported landing in Thousand Oaks this morning. One anchor said that in a recent fire an entire block of homes nowhere close to the path of the fire went up after the residents left their garage doors opened. Embers flew into the open garages and all the homes were lost.

Thank you for the cool link!

Didn’t I read somewhere that Al-Qaeda was going to attack the US again by setting Forrest fires or something like that? OR was I dreaming?! I thought I read an article here somewhere. Hmmmm those fires sound very suspicious though! On another note, didn’t I hear ONE of Oprah’s home burned down too?
