... that wives can be just as successful, smart and accomplished as their husbands.

&&&

Oh, yeah, that huge Hillary resume. What she accomplished was staying married to a no-good scumbag who managed to infest the WH for 8 years. Yeah, that qualifies her for high public office.

“I’m torn...if he selects her as Secretary of State, then she is no longer my junior senator. Which is the lesser of two evils?”

Urgggh, what a concept. Hard to say. On one hand, and I never thought I’d say such a thing, but Hillary is a voice of relative sanity, however grating, within the Dem party as it now exists. It probably woundn’t make much difference to have some other flaming goofball appointed in her place in the Senate. The question, is how much damage could she do as Sec State? We’re probably better off with a load of under the table Clinton deals with the Chinese since they’ll possibly have to bail out the US Treasury at some point.

Boy oh boy, instead of the lesser of two evils, now we get a choice between the lesser of two evils and the devil you know. Bleak, very bleak.

I think after the primary Hillary and Bill went to Obama and said give them Secretary of State, they didn’t want VP, or they would release all the dirt they have and also have the LA Times release the tape.

It’s really not fun being a red county in a blue state. Hitlery has never done anything for upstate NY, despite her promises. We would be well rid of her and her pantsuits.

No reason for Hillary to go to work for Obama when she can be a Senator for Life. I’m betting this is just to appease some of the PUMAs.

I doubt she would take it, the clintons past shows avoidance of hard work at all times, ( except running for office) they prefer slinking around at our expense pushing their freaky left agenda.

I tend to agree with this. She’s a total windbag. SecState puts her in charge of one of the most ramshackle, full-of-itself bureaucracies on the planet in Foggy Bottom. She ain’t gonna do ‘dat do.

Obama will be a disaster.

I think Hillary keeps herself free to run against “THE ONE” in 2012.
By then, even the libs might want to throw out the trash for new garbage.

Why would she be given the Majority Leader role? Most of the Rats in the Senate supported Obama, even including the woman McCaskill from Missouri.

No one talks about it in the media of course. But that is an obvious explanation why she is willing to leave.

They don’t like her and she will be just the jr. Senator from NY. No one is giving up their committee heads for her. No one.
