WOT = War on Terror

To us, it means fighting radical Islam.

To Obama, it means arguing with Michelle.

I smell’ troll breath on Drew.

He needs to go back to the welcoming arms of DU or the KOS kids.

Now add in the stunning condemnation of Hon. Clarence Thomas by Obama during a televised interview or debate last month. The irony of Thomas writing a decision for the majority upholding Keyes and defeating Obama, would be so sweeeet.

I'm an Aussie, just had to see who you were talking about. My oh my, don't they both look FAIR DINKUM!

Exactly, blaquebird and the drew68 (fake navy guy) are likely paid trolls.

Oh, you're on to me! It's been nearly 8 years now. Quite the lucrative gig as a paid troll.

Shhhh... Don't tell anyone.

You might have been a member for a few years, but you sure are following a path of a troll on this thread.

Maybe you’re just slow?

Well Drew, did you stop by the campaign office and collect the brand new copy of the bosses birth certificate so you can collect the big money prize?

$1 Million Reward 4 Obama Long-Form Birth Certificate / Video

Or is it still with the CPP (Chicago Paper Processors) in the CPUSA office, aging like a fine bottle of wine ?

Who ever does the job had better do a much better job than the COLB posted on the web by the dummies at KOS.

but you sure are following a path of a troll on this thread.

Why? Because I don't subscribe to these crackpot conspiracy theories? I took off my tinfoil hat a long time ago.

I don’t find upholding our Constitution a “conspiracy theory”.

You better put your tin foil hat back on. The Rats propaganda is shutting down your ability to think for yourself and understand right from wrong.

Keyes was on the ballot here in FL, and if I had known this state was going to go for Obama, I’d have gladly cast a vote in Keyes’ favor.

I can’t find a source for the rule on the web, but I now know more than I ever wanted about the British peerage. WikiAnswers has this, but without a reference:

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_do_you_address_a_former_ambassador

I tried “courtesy titles” and “styles of address” - even with quote marks the results are primarily garbage. I remember Mrs. Cates covering this in 4th (or 5th - I had her two years in a row) grade English class, but since I can’t document it, I won’t argue with your usage.

I only asked because I couldn’t find anything either. Also, a search for “former ambassador” turns up lots of hits.

True, but it is how it is- Senators Presidents Speakers all are called by the former titles as a sign of respect.

It only serves to glorify government. BTW, Nixon was most often mentioned as "disgraced former president".

JMack, I never discount the "troll" among us suspicion. I'm always trying to see the "both sides" aspect and see how it works to the greater good. And that usually annoys more than a few. lol.

Yes, I've seen blogs and articles, and posts about "let it drop" re BO's certificate. And it always gives me a chuckle.

Why? Because I know invariably their "let it drop" tends to grow more excitable interest in people. Human Nature. The news articles about the seamier sides of celebrities always seem to get the hughest audiences.

At any rate, as every time then First-Lady Clinton would pronounce "let's move on"; which was the ultimate put down and insult on a range of important matters which did need to be vetted; the every-day people of American would sputter in response, their righteous dignity would rise, and well, that's one of the ways in which Hillary managed to tank her own career potential. Those who were for her thought it exhibited "superb leadership skills".

Good leadership does not apply nor use such rank means in word choices.

So, every time I read another "let it drop", from the Epistle side of the aisle of conservatism, I immediately observe the Gospel side of the aisle arise and say "NO".

And then we all sing a hymn.

Democrats created and routinely use this very type of "means" to kill careers, malign characters, and to sway public opinion on their political opposites.

Seems to me, in re this issue, the Gospel side is growing in numbers. If the Epistle side goes silent, this is not so good. And because the Dems and MSM would like this to be a non-issue and for reasons I'll not get into here.

BO should bring forward his birth certificate. And since he's written a book detailing all about his life, why he's so reticent to likewise reveal his origins, is what intrigues me.

He appears to prefer to leave salient facts out of the telling about himself. Usually, this is not an issue and because no one is obliged to reveal such things about themselves. But he is going into a JOB which requires, demands such information.

His reticence in discussing his birth certificate says to me that he will do absolutely nothing to halt IDENTITY THEFT, nor will he do anything to halt ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. His job demands he reveal these things about himself. Therefore, I do suspect he might be some type of illegal immigrant, himself; and has a possibly altered document concerning his birth. This reeks to me of a Democrat "watergate".

Would Keyes's action have to be/could it be prorogated by the Supreme Court in order to be heard at the same time as other similar petitions for relief?

Understand Berg was going to appeal, despite being denied "standing" (because he was a mere citizen -- pretty shaky damn reasoning if you ask me, in a case involving eligibility of public officeholders) by the federal district court in Philly?

Could he wind up before SCOTUS at the same time? Hell, let's all go!
