The poll answer I would be concerned with at this time is if God agrees with this premise......

Obviously, the motto should now read IN OBAMA WE TRUST. Right?

I know it’s an internet poll, but 81% No is encouraging.

The loons have proclaimed that an Obama victory is a mandate to destroy everything that America stands for.

Note the tone of the "no" position

No. The motto has historical and patriotic significance and does nothing to establish a state religion.

They don't get it, do they? /prq (for "purely rhetorical question")

I’ve decided to conduct my own poll. I’ll send the results to MSNBC and expect them to react accordingly. *L*

Should the word “journalism” never be permitted to be used in conjunction with the propaganda machine that MSNBC?

____ Yes

____ Absolutely

____ Who honestly gets their “news” from MSNBC?

I was wondering what even prompted asking the question? An Obama victory is the reason for asking? Guns and ammo people....

I firmly believe that because this nation hasn’t trusted in God, that’s why we’re in the mess we’re in. Too many people have turned their backs on God and failed to put their trust in Him. This is what we get as a nation. A radical, liberal, suspicious man for a president and all the jackals that come with him.

There is an email going around suggesting boycotting the Post Office stamp machines which apparently are giving change in new dollar coins lacking “In God We Trust”. I think they were giving Suzie Anthonys before. I’ve carefully avoided needing change of a dollar or more from these things anyway.

MSNBC obviously has a file called "Crap to run after every election".

Everytime we have an election the same junk is posted - using the ploy of a "survey" to try and plant their commie/socialist ideas into the minds of some whacko liberal congressperson.

I think MSNBC stands for "More $hit Now (than) Before Clinton"

You might be right, but I think after 4 years of destroying America, many citizens will wake up. We must lead a conservative revolution!

On the other hand, if you are right, our grandchildren will only hear about Pre-Obama America only twice. Grandpa and grandma will be sent to the nursing home for re-education.

:::::::::::
Obama does not need a mandate — that was his agenda ALREADY, and well as the agenda of his financial and political supporters.

If the motto is meant to represent what the politicians and majority of the public actually believe, then “In God We Trust” is false. I’d vote to strike it. The country is no longer God-fearing, even though a substantial fraction of its population purports to be.
