Cutter also said the two will be joined at Obama's Chicago transition office by Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, a McCain confidant, and Rep. Rahm Emanuel, the Illinois Democrat whom Obama has chose to be his White House chief of staff.

I honestly believe Obama will offer McCain a cabinet post. Not a small one either. Just wait and see. I would not be shocked to see McCain as S of Defense or even S of State. Obama needs lots of cover and the best way to cover is with a RINO. It depends totally on what policy he intends to inact that will be the most hated. McCain will be the front for that post.
The republicaN party was destroyed by both Bushes. The first one didn’t fool me. But, boy, do I feel stupid for supporting the second one.
As for McCain. I would never vote for him. I did vote for Sarah and will again unless she goes soft.
If a new party isn’t started soon this country will not survive. And I’m not sure all is not already lost.
Make McCain Secretary of Defense. I want to watch the little DU heads exploding in the twilight. ;)
...and the conservative betrayal is now complete.
“Make McCain Secretary of Defense. I want to watch the little DU heads exploding in the twilight. ;)”
Now that would be political satire!
John McCain is the Benedict Arnold of our times...or the Herman Goering

Exactly.
He sealed the deal when he stated, ‘He is a decent family man who is not to be feared’.
Wonder if he’ll buy new kneepads. His old ones must be worn out.
Since both clowns are going, my guess is he is looking for support from them in the Senate, which of course McCain and Gramnesty will give him. Why take either of these useful idiots out of the Senate anyway? Either could be replaced with a real republican, no? First up, immigration.
I wish Sessions were at that meeting.
I think we better come to grips with the fact we have 4 years in the wilderness. Hopefully we will still recognize this nation in 2012.
Secretary of Conservative Re-Education !
Time to join the Ron Paul revolution. The only way to beat the communists. And one worlders.

Boy is that the wrong answer.
McCain was never an unknown. He was a warmed over bob dole.
This election was about pullin him over the finish line DESPITE his election incompetence (seriously what kind of idiot coppies bob dole’s campaign?) and HOPE palin would bring more conservatives.
Now in Miami we see the republican governors RINOS pushing christine todd WHITLESS as “a woman republican”.
56 million of us voted against Obama, he did not win in a landslide by any means. He is looking to McCain and Graham to calm us down because he knows that there is a good many of us who can make trouble for him. I know I am outright defiant with regard to his Presidency and where he wants to take our country, I doubt I am alone.
What he doesn’t understand is we didn’t back McCain because we liked him, we were playing Defense.
At least Dole was funny!
You are not alone.
Actually that might not be a bad idea for Obama. The DU grievance mongers are going to become his worst nightmare if he tries to move to the center so he can govern (or rule, to use the term preferred by his subjects). McCain was the propaganda media’s favorite RINO for quite some time.
Ping. Juan McCain pays homage to The One, trying out his new kneepads for the next 4 years.
“Obama is planning to use McCain and Lindsey Graham as “bipartisan” cover for his actions. Unfortunately, both McCain and Graham have no other goals than to be “players”. Obama will make them players. “
I think you pretty much nailed it.
