According to Granholm a congressional bailout of the Big 3 is in urgent need. She also indicated that any strings attached to a congressional bailout that impacts union contracts would be difficult.

Not too difficult for me. I won't lose any sleep if they refuse a bailout and go into bankruptcy. That is really the only way, for what are actually 3 really good companies, to overcome the Unions and the Legacy burden. They should have started moving things South a long time ago. The quicker the Unions lose power, the better. Someone should have overturned this corrupt apple cart a long time ago.
