Me thinks the govorners are above this. The media, however, is not.

Takes longer to restore a rustbucket than it does to change the oil.

Let’s guess who was whining...I say Charlie Crist, and Ahnold. In other words, the RINOs.

I just lifted the following segment from HumanEvents.com, on the GOP governors pulling the plug on Palin’s press conference.

“Pawlenty, by contrast, rejected the “return to our conservative roots” theme of others at this conference and said,“GOP principles must be harmonized with outreach to the new demographics of America,” “the GOP is fifteen years behind in the use of technology and the Internet,” “the GOP needs more than a political comb-over,” and “voters don’t want our Party led by a crank.” Unsure of to whom Pawlenty was referring in that last comment, there were some gasps from the crowd.”

Can anyone guess who he was referring to? Pawlenty sure sounds like he is one of these “reformist” Republicans who wants to reach out to certain groups of voters, rather than applying conservative principles and letting the voters come to us.

Progressive Action Item of The Day: Sarah Palin is “the de facto leader of the party”.

Distribute to all loyal media outlets.

Media seeks to cause more division in the party with crap like that. Their goal is to put a knife in the party, and blame Palin, effectively putting a knife in her too.

Hey its CNN. Take it with a grain of salt. Reporters are trying to keep their jobs knowing the cutbacks are coming.
cya wouldn’t wanna be ya.

The GOP governors [Crist] spoke to CNN on condition of anonymity a undisclosed number of fawning press reports.

Let those who oppose Palin proudly announce themselves as such, otherwise they are simply throwing knives out of the dark (or maybe it's merely a case of media pukes throwing the knives).

I must say, many alleged Republican leaders have turned into p—ssies because of a strong woman. I saw Palin’s remarks and she was acting like a team player. Clearly, she didn’t want to talk about the campaign anymore. There is a lot of jealousy out there, especially by a few governors who weren’t picked to be VP.

Gotta love the media and their anonymous “sources”.

GOP Governors themselves are "anonymous" sources?

Don't shoot the messenger. I believe every bit of this is true. The GOP has an elitist, insider attitude problem just like the Dems do.

These GOP Governors don't have the balls to say it outright, even though Palin shared the conference with them and frequently referred to them as a "group." All of these GOP Governors are nothing more than get-along to go-along RINO cowards who couldn't lead a group of ants to a picnic. If the GOP keeps backstabbing Palin they are going to be history.
