Interesting. Four years is a long time.

Never too early to start the 2012 race

Perpetual campaign season turns a lot of voters off.

There was a poll that showed her at 65% vs 11% each for
Romney and Huck.

I’m ok with any of the above but Romney. There is somthing
so Nixon about him.

GOP- and America-backstabber Myth Romney purports
that Romney LEADS for 2012 (as he planned when
carpetbagger-shapeshifter Romney threw Election 2008 to Obama).

If they are ever going to regain prominence, conservatives need to caucus and select one viable candidate by 2010.

Otherwise, they may find themselves in a 2008 repeat — several conservative/moderates splitting the delegate votes so the moderate globalist old boy gets the nomination -— again.

Four years is a long time.

Particularly for left overs. I am convinced that Palin and Jindal are the future, if there is to be one. If the professional politicians rule the roost, things will get even worse. Someone has to become a "trust buster" if we are to move beyond insider "RINOS". IMHO

2008 - 2012 will be very interesting!!

but for now, I’m having a time with ......

referring to President Bush as - Mr. Bush......

then addressing Barack Obama as President Elect Obama.....

My suggestion - Mr. Elect Obama.

Fair and Balanced.

Hear me FoxNews!!

Madam or Sir, has Mitt Romney personally offended you or someone close to you?

Everyone that visits this site knows that you hate Mitt. No need to keep repeating it again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again again and again..........

I agree. Let's first focus on 2010.

Gov Palin says to work on 2010 first order of business.
IMHO thinking about 2012 is not practical without rebuilding the base.

Mitt Romney hurt Massachusetts, America, the GOP
for himself. He attacked a Gov. and her children
during Election2008 to throw the election to
Obama (another socialist like Romney).

Educated people note that Romney is also a loser and backstabber.
What is your point?

"Despite outspending his rivals by huge margins throughout the primaries,
(Romney) lost Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Florida and California.
The only primaries he won were in Michigan, where Dad was governor; LDS states;
and a few states on Super Tuesday in which his California-obsessed rivals
couldn't spare the cash to advertise.
Only John Connolly in 1968 had a worse cash-to-delegates ratio.
And John McCain rightly did not like Romney's tactics during the primaries.
(W)hen (Romney's early leads) started slipping away, he resorted to unfair,
distorted, scorched-earth negative ads, betting that his opponents couldn't
afford to spend enough for the truth to catch up to his charges.
"

I will never refer to that person (Obamarx, that is)as “president”.

You’re correct. It would be sweet to pick up some of the governorships, for sure. House and Senate - not so promising IMO.

The entire House is up for election in 2010. All of them. Of the 25 million Republicans available, it should be possible to find some who wouldn’t mind a couple years in DC fixing the mess.

I think it's better to say that it's never too early to start laying groundwork for the 2012 race. Voters also get turned off by a party that only seems to pay attention to them right before an election.

It's essential that the Republican Party be made more dynamic, personal and participatory for its constituants. The base needs to be represented and heard.

Just what we need in 2012 the two people most heavily involved in Identity politics and most guaranteed to divide the GOP.

Both Huckabee and the Mittster need to walk away and do what is best for this country, the GOP, and conservatives.

Just Say No!

I think the key to 2010 is to make a convincing argument that the Democrats are responsible for the financial crisis. Since the truth is that they ARE the ones that are responsible, this should not be very difficult. However, it must be a forceful and convincing argument which will make sure the voter anger will be directed squarelty where it belongs.

Just make sure no RINOs run in the primary. The press and the cross voting dems and indpendants (the ones pulling republican ballots in the primaries) won’t know what to do.
