I am having weird problems. On some articles, I can only see the text of the 1st comment. I see links for more pages worth, but no articles.
I also have not seen a new article in quite q while.
Am I the only one?
i have been seeing it too
there is not easy way to contact the moderators about problems like this...
No, it’s happening to everyone.
But we can’t tell you, because our replies aren’t posting, either.
In cyberspace, no one can hear you scream!
Go to the main forum.
Notice the three new tabs on the top left corner of the screen.
Click on Articles.
Resume FREEPing.
weird thing is today I have had trouble with Rush Limbaugh’s website, redstate.com website and freerepublic website.
Is this just a coincidence?
Yes... same here... replies not making it through either... except for this one (if it shows up)
No, you’re not alone.
I am having problems too. Suspect server overload?
I couldn’t get on at all last Saturday, I was thinking somebody at Verizon was blocking the site - it was the only site I couldn’t access. It has been slow for a few weks now otherwise no problem today, knock on wood.
Major weirdness that no one will hear about.
[why I’m posting this I dunno...nobody will ever see it...hey...maybe I should seize the opportunity and run totally amok!]
This is the first thread with replies that I’ve seen this afternoon.
I can see the replies to this post, except my own.
I can see for miles.
I’ve been getting this “Bad Request” notice very frequently when trying to bring up FR or click on a thread. Says the server does not recognize.
By frequently I mean maybe 1 out of three tries. This never happens elsewhere, only on FR.
Mozilla firefox...xp pro, if it matters. It’s been happening for about a week now. No idea if the problem’s at the site or not.
Its a DOS attack by the upcoming administration. A pretest of a new “fairness” doctrineaimesd at web sites. /sarc
From one of the zillion Obama transition articles-—
In the six days since Election Day, Obamas transition team has taken a series of initial steps intended to turn Obamas online networks of supporters into governing tools.
Yeah, weve noticed.
I can’t post at all. You’re imagining things if you see this post.

Same here. Now it appears to be back but from about 2:30 central to now it was as you describe. What’s up? (or down)
Thank God, I thought it was “pilot error”. ;o)
