I still don’t believe the story. I’ve heard McCain aides say it is BS.

Are we to believe this? If it was a hoax why did Cameron, ET, Extra, and all the others repeat it along with the other lies? Is this a McCain staffer CYA?
IF true, lazy, mission oriented yellow journalism lives on.
To: Clive
MSNBC, basically, is one enormous retraction.........

The only way to make this fair is to have Keith Oberman wrestle nude with a pig on live tv.

From the article:
""Kudos to the inventor of this whole thing," Stein wrote. ..."
Kudos, I suppose, for his continuance of a slanderous attack on Palin. In any other jurisdiction in the Common Law this would hoax have been grounds for an action for libel.

The hoax was limited to the identity of the source in the story about Palin - not the Fox News story itself. So, the lies are still not retracted. It is just the source of the lies they got wrong.

Har, watching MSNBC is like being the victim of a hoax.
They say they found out this was false and ran a correction on air within minutes.
A lot of good that did, Olberman and others to this day still repeat the lie almost every show they have.
I guess they didn't get ignored the memo.
Palin today said she is concentrating on Alaska and also national problems, and isn't looking to run in 08 at this time
Jindle appears to be on fast track to run in 4 years.
He (at this time) looks like a good running mate for Palin in 08
Pawlenty is another name put out there
His waffling on the vote fraud in his state and his non-answers to the obvious fact that Franken and the ACORN member Sec. of State are aggressively stealing the election there turns me off to him

MSNBC was the victim of a hoax when it reported that an adviser to John McCain had identified himself as the source of an embarrassing story about former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin, the network said Wednesday... Total BS...a skeptic can't be conned. Con artists focus on those who already want to believe.
