Maybe your opinion, but this country did think we were voting in a Conservative White Republican President in 2000. Yet we didn’t have a chance in 2008.
Don’t give up so easily...we have the numbers, we just have to run OUR candidate, rather than the one SELECTED FOR US by the MSM.
If the incoming legal immigrant quota was raised (as it desperately is needed) and government processing procedures were improved, we wouldn’t have nearly the problem we do now with illegals.
But people like you are too full of bigotry and hatred to understand the economic problem we face today and the need for immigrants.

Yes, you should have seen me leading the charge to nominate John McCain while bundling for FDT. In my most very humble opionion, on September 11, 2001 - before the sun even set, the borders (all) should have been slammed shut, by our administration - putting every troop available on the scene - with the order, “Stop border crossing into our country - no matter what it takes.”
It is proven, that many ME people have found their way into our country via open borders everywhere, not to mention the workers that steal jobs from our citizens, trash our land, and rape, pillage, rob and kill thousands of innocent families by driving drunk.
It is my own opinion, offered humbly. My country has been fighting a war against the illegal aliens for over a decade, yet we have no support or even protection offered, by our government who has promised to protect us.
And, more and more citizens are killed daily, and the enemy? Ignored. For now.
They will no doubt be offered amnesty and citizenship, very shortly.
Sara Palin was the VP running mate of the man who authored the ‘amnesty bill’ with Ted Kennedy. I would love to hear her feelings on this.

We only lost Ohio by 4% points. We came close in Florida.
We got 46% of the vote in a very Democratic year.
This country never rejected Reagan conservatism. The Republican party did.
I just want to make the point that any Republican candidate is going to be a lightning rod in this climate. dont go thinking for a second that Bobby Jindal would be treated better. He and Palin agree on almost everything. Whoever doesnt like her will not like him.
When people see her for who she really is, I think a lot of people in the middle will warm up to her. She is doing great in these interviews. I dont know if I put much weight in the polls. I believe most of the country is open to hearing what she has to say. The people who are not are liberal Democrats.
