Just 4 days after the Election, the moonbats were putting politics before our Troops. We support the Troops, they say, but do they really? We thought for sure there would be a whole swarm of them, but only 3 showed up. I suppose the rest were too busy celebrating the defeat of America. Brad Brown had no sign, other than a big peace sign on his shirt. The older moonbat had his sign War is not the answer. Howard Stern look-alike was there dressed in upscale clothing and guess what sign he was holding? An Obama/Biden sign. Gloating when your candidate wins isnt uncommon, but the bigger picture here is how actions speak louder than words. The moonbats cant wait to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Had the Election outcome been different, we might have had a McCain/Palin sign, but that would be in addition to, not in place of the Support Our Troops signs.

This is typical liberal politicking, despite what the moonbats say. We will continue to fight the good fight and support our Troops, which is even more crucial now. Apparently, many supporters feel the same way. [Mr] Trooprally, Lurker Bill, Anomoly99, My Hero (Chris) and I were holding down the fort. PatrioticMarineMom (PMM) dropped by with her daughter (Eden) and a special little visitor, her precious grandson, Lucius Nathaniel. This was our 1st introduction to the little guy. What a sweet little baby with lots of hair! PMM told us it was her day with Lucius and hoped we understood why she wouldnt be joining us. Of course, we understood! After all, PMM is a Blue Star Mom and her son, LCpl. Joshua is currently deployed and defending our freedom. She deserves to cherish every moment with her 1st grandchild! Thank you, PMM for bringing Lucius by and thanks for raising a fine Marine! LCpl. Joshua is in our thoughts and prayers every day, along with you and your family.

We received quite a few salutes. A passenger riding by saw my sign God Bless the Military and Their Families, asked if that included WWII and told us he was a Vet. We said yes and thanked him for his service to our country. A group of ladies walked by while one said she would beep her horn if she had a car. Actually, they were parked right on Main St. and did beep the horn as they were leaving. A few people came up to us to express their thanks.
2ND AND LAST SATURDAY 3-5pm
Please join us if you can. We especially need extra boots on the corner, on the 2nd and last Saturday of each month, when we counter protest the moonbats. The Westminster Gathering/FReep is located on the east side of E. Main Street opposite the library at 50 East Main Street. There is public parking on Winters Street. Follow the signs.
Please ping!
D.C. Chapter Master Ping List
And don’t forget a big Marine Corps Happy Birthday!!
A Vet tried to give Lurker Bill $20 for our cause. L. Bill refused but gave him a business card that said “Thanks for Supporting Our Troops” on one side and a list of troop supporting organizations on the other side.
I didn’t know he had made these up but he said that he’ll print out more and give a couple to all of us.
ROCKERMOM - Thanks for the great AAR. I pray that all of our grandkids never have to see the disdain that is given our troops.
[Mr] T
I forgot to ask about the man trying to give L. Bill money. That is a great idea with the business cards! Would appreciate some. Glad you enjoyed the AAR. I learned from the best and I try! :)
