I requested inauguration tickets back in the spring, and booked a motel for $99.00 a night in February. I have heard from my Congressman’s office and am waiting to find out if I can get any tickets. Lord I hope so.

I,and my two long-haired hippie teenagers plus a Muslim exchange student that I will be traveling with, will need probably more room than you have, but just in case you could make the accommodation, I would be happy to pay $650 per night and would would not require removal of any patriotic decor. As long as you aren't too far from the leftist celebrations.

By the way, I applaud your ingenious attempt to exploit the new-found spirit of bipartisanship in the country. The free-market lives!!

"Bitter cold in DC?" I will never, ever forget standing outside in the bitter cold for Ike's Inauguration. Although I was almost frozen by the time Ike's limo reached our stands we all stood and sang “The Eyes of Texas.” Ike stopped his limo and stood while we sang. We were a long way from Texas that day and although we were all freezing I will never forget that day.

I am sure there will likewise be kids from all over the US attending the Oboma Inauguration that will have some of the same memories.
