If McCain keeps reaching across that aisle he’s going to draw back a nub.
Calling McCain out now for the open-border useless loser that he is - is not “spitting on our troops”. With his silly vanity candidacy over, he’s free to return to his favorite political practice: betrayal. We’re free to identify him for what he is.
Arizona is strongly trending Democratic. With AZ Gov. Napolitano’s high popularity in Arizona she is already favored to win the seat away from McCain if she were to run (her two terms are up in 2010,) but she would be a major favorite if she were to run against any other Republican.
On the other hand, from what I have read, Napolitano is being talked about as a potential cabinet member in the new administration, so the picture in AZ could change (in both ways) depending on who the cabinet appointees are.
You have said it all.
If McCain joined Hussein’s cabinet, I’d expect millions of people to contact RNC and demand refunds of their donations.
I honestly think that McCain can’t stand Obama and that the feeling is mutual. So no way, no how will Obama offer or McCain accept.
I almost did that today when I got a letter from him thanking me for my support and asking me to join with him in working with OBAMA to get things done!! I feel like I am living in a nightmare right now!
Oh really? Here is a snipet of the letter I just got from McCain:
“We urge you to join us in not just congratulating Senator Obama, but offering our next president our good will and earnest effort to find ways to come together as a nation. Whatever our differences may be, we are all fellow Americans.”
I got news for Mr. McCain...OBAMA WILL GET NONE OF MY ‘EARNEST EFFORT’ ON ANYTHING THAT HAS TO DO WITH HIS MARXIST PLANS FOR AMERICA!
I watched all the debates. You could tell by the body language and actions of both men just exactly what they thought of each other.
It does sound unlikely but that won’t stop McCain from trying to work with Obama from the Senate....(eye roll)...He loves to do that kind of crap.
no.
Try and eat something. If you don't, the dry heaves will kill you well before '12.
Yeah but even in that he's irrelevant. The Democrats have 57 seats in the Senate. It looks like they're going to pull out a win in Alaska and may even do so in Minnesota. So that's 59 seats. What do they need to broker a compromise on? No need for a broker, no need for McCain.
Good point. I guess our country is just screwed and the only hope now is that the whole birth certificate stuff is true!
Think I will take a sleeping pill and go to bed.
‘After all, tomorrow is another day’....
Thank you for handling the editorial duties. I've been getting a bit testy lately, what with all the
its vs. it's
your vs. you're
purals vs. plural's
ordinary and extraordinary mispellings, such as tow the line instead of toe the line
and assorted Archie Bunkerisms
et cetera
J-No has to appoint a republican but she would probably appoint Grant Woods. The only republican in the world more leftist than McCain.
One of the few reason I could conjure up to support John McCain for President was that it would mean he would no longer be in the U.S. Senate.
Yep. With McCain, it's all about the big "L" (legacy).
Only if Barack thinks that McCain won’t live all four years, as his campaign suggested in 2008.
And it’ll be a riot to see the Cabinet get together with John Kerry, a man who made the charge that Senator McCain wears Depends diapers.
Independents, as in political party?
Is this like Bernie Sanders (Socialist)?
Or maybe it is a way to get Joe Lieberman, (NOT a Democrat anymore), out of the Senate.
