Some kosher gelatin is made from seaweeds. Kosher marshmallows can be found at Whole Foods.

According to Peter's own interpretation, the vision was really about people, not about kosher. Mind you, the Torah is clear that Gentiles are not required to keep kosher: Noah was given both the clean and the unclean animals to eat, and an Israelite is permitted to sell
treif meat to a Gentile.
However, Jewish followers of Yeshua (Jesus) were still expected to keep the whole Torah, circumcision, and the Jewish traditions (cf. Acts 21:21ff)--except where those traditions directly conflicted with the New Covenant understanding of the Torah, like those which forbade fellowship with even God-fearing Gentiles.
Shalom!

Is purchasing Halal Meat an alternative?/Just Asking - seoul62......NO. Halal and Kosher, though similar, are two different standards. Especially the part where a Jewish Rabbi has to bless the Kosher food to complete the process.

What the Jewish Community did to Rubashkin was wrong.

That’s one hell of a link. They knew good and damn well that they were bringing in illegals, and employing obviously under-aged ones. The laws apply equally to everyone, or they apply to no one.

I don’t see how the company could go bankrupt over the loss of their illegal workforce.
Hire legals and raise the end price enough to meet the same profitability would have solved the problem. After all, this article ALREADY proved that the market they serve is a *captive* market... with nowhere else to go. So, they’d pay the extra buck or two (to pay for the legal workers) to get the kosher beef.
