Compare this thread from earlier this year http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/1994684/posts
With this article & recent history... http://www.cnbc.com/id/27641538
Hmm. Well item #1 ... check.
Doesn’t seem all that tin foil to me. This is a vanity well worth posting.
Ping for future reference
It is getting a little creepy.
Ammo: Check
Newly purchased “assault weapon”: Check
Canned goods and frozen side of beef: Check
Extra tin foil: Check
It’s all in the play book. We’d better cling to our guns and religion.
One problem - I highly doubt the military will go along with any REX 84 plans.
A long list still mostly unfulfilled.
As one who has long observed that dated predictions of disasters almost never happen, I’m struck that at least the first item DID come true. Will be waiting (actively) for the rest.
Keep me informed as the list is fulfilled.
Hmmm.....I’m not at all into conspiracy theories. But who knows with these clowns.
Nearly every comment on the old thread dismisses it as kooky conspiracy theory stuff.
From the first link:
“SPECIAL “CLOSED SESSION” OF U.S. HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES DISCUSSED A LOT MORE THAN THE PENDING SECURITY SURVEILLANCE PROVISIONS!
This was only the fourth time in 176 years that Congress has closed its doors to the public. What was it that they were discussing that they do NOT want us to know about?
Word has begun leaking from last nights special, closed-door session of the United States House of Representatives.
Not only did members discuss new surveillance provisions as was the publicly stated reason for the closed door session, they also discussed:
1. the imminent collapse of the U.S. economy to occur by September 2008 ..”
OK. So that is what they “claimed” Pelosi’s Congress discussed then (in March). Did they actually do that? The rest? Seems a bit extreme.
“6. the possibility of retaliation against members of Congress for the collapses,
7. the location of “safe facilities” for members of Congress and their families to reside during expected massive civil unrest,”
Is this an admission of guilt prior to the fact that this was indeed CONGRESS’ fault and not just the “failed Bush policies of the past 8 years”?
Seeing how the government’s bailout has failed big time, it’s looking like #2 is not far behind.
I dismissed it when I first read it too, back early this year - but I remembered it. Then when the economy started going in the dink I recalled the article and put it kinda on the distant radar. Then I read the cnbc article and my eyes grew a bit wider. The fact the idea is being floated is concerning.
bttt
Did you read the CNBC article too? I know it is just words, but the fact it is being floated. Just a bit odd.
Well, it would certainly be interesting to know if our members of Congress got out of the stock market conveniently before the bear emerged.
4. advance round-ups of “insurgent U.S. citizens” likely to move against the government,
