Here I, a citizen of the United States of America, go into the U.S. passport office..

"Can I get me a passport here?"

"Birth certificate? Sure. I posted it on my web site -- and my friends also posted it, It's at www.my.."

Actually, the State Dept. had a loophole up until just a mere couple of weeks ago that allowed for passports to be issued to people that didn't have birth certificates. All they needed was a Letter of No Record and a few flimsy documents that could be obtained from a church (Like Rev. Wrights?).
