RUSH: Listen to this montage yesterday and last night from the Drive-By Media.
ED HENRY: What really struck the Obama camp was how gracious President Bush was.
KATIE COURIC: It was one gracious couple welcoming another.
JAKE TAPPER: The Senator remarked how gracious President Bush was.
LISA CAPUTO: They were incredibly gracious.
BOB HERBERT: President and Mrs. Bush were extremely gracious.
GLORIA BORGER: George W. Bush has been incredibly gracious.
JAY CARNEY: President Bush has made this pretty easy by being so gracious.
KYRA PHILLIPS: It's very gracious of President Bush.
RICHARD WOLFFE: Everything we're hearing is that he was very, very gracious.
JOHN HARWOOD: This is President Bush at his best and, being very gracious.
BRET BAIER: ...a visit that aides described as gracious.
FRED BARNES: The Bushes are very gracious and decent people.
CHRIS PLANTE: The Bushes who are very gracious people.
DAVID GERGEN: They are being gracious about it.
MIKE EMANUEL: President Bush has been totally gracious.
ALLAN LICHTMAN: President Bush has been extremely gracious.
ANDREA MITCHELL: Laura and George Bush could not have been more gracious.
PAUL "THE FOREHEAD" BEGALA: The grace, class that the Bushes showed...
CHARLIE ROSE: I keep hearing reports that the President has been very gracious about all this.
RUSH: The last two voices you heard were Paul Begala and Charlie Rose. Now, this is beyond absurd and it is infuriating. Because whatever you think on policy, all of these people have known for eight years what a decent and gracious man George W. Bush is. They sought to destroy him. He didn't fight back. Now all of a sudden that he's being nice to Obama, he's being nice to The Messiah, "Why, look at what a gracious and decent guy George W. Bush is!" It's another indictment of the unprofessionalism of journalists today.
Obama needs to release more than one-word talking points!
it’s called being a man and having some class. not acting self-entitled, not smirking and giggling at your political opponents during a debate. certainly not subtly flipping them off on national tv.
There’s that selfish little twit Begala going and changing the magic word to ‘grace.’ It’s not about YOU Paul, it’s about the message.
Goodness gracious!
Uh-uh-uh-uh....right!
Gracious.
Gravitas.
Grrrrrrr.
The herd mentality of the Left at its most obvious. Whenever Rush plays these montages, one can only gape at the vapid uniformity of what passes for liberal thought.
I love these montages. I ROFLMAO every time one gets played.
They sought to destroy [President Bush]. He didn't fight back.
He'd better cover himself as the transition proceeds.
A Rat is like the scorpion that talked the frog into transporting it across the pond. They can't help it. The Rats can't help it.
I'll say again.. the Bush Administration had better insist upon third-party, non-partisan transition observers as the leftist mob takes over offices and facilities.
The Rat Party (formerly the traditional, patriotic Democratic Party) will surely lie about finding the offices and facilities in shambles and ugly racial graffiti on the walls and doors.
The Rats got caught trashing offices and equipment eight years ago and -- I forget if there's an Alinsky rule number -- the rule is, publicly and loudly accuse your opponent of your own nefarious, disgusting doings.
They can't help it. The Rats can't help it.
Rush is pointing out what a herd mentality exists within the people who follow the democratic doctrines.
The rules are easy and simple - like their leaders.
No creativity or individual responsibility allowed.
Stay with the crowd.
It's that the modern day Genghis Kahn, evil Bush, that wild animal, was even calmed by the mere presence of the Great One, The Chosen One, Messiah 0bama
Wonder what the next “word” will be handed down to the mediabots?
Maybe we should start a pool...”pick the word”
Pick the word, win a Kewpie Doll!!!!
Good idea. I pick the word "grave" - as in "grave" economic problems, "grave" global issues, "grave" energy crisis, the "grave" responsibility ahead of him, etc.
He will be portrayed as a serious man, dealing with the "gravely serious" problems he's had to inherit from the previous administration.
you should start a ping list like the “word of the day” or “talking point of the day/week”. If we could get a tape and put it on you tube or the video of the talking heads edited and put on youtube it would be hilarious.
