The Supreme Court is still pondering whether to permit fleeting expletives on the airwaves, but a San Francisco radio station isn’t waiting for the decision.

A host on San Francisco’s top-rated KGO told his fans Tuesday that the station had fired him over comments he made a few days before the election about Joe Wurzelbacher, the suddenly famous unlicensed plumber who got caught up in the candidates’ tax policy debates

It looks like his “unity” gig is going to be a lot harder than Osama thought. LOL! We’re probably going to have to stick with the Breck Girl’s Two Americas.

I’m actually surprised. I didn’t think there was that much sanity and good taste left in San Francisco.

Well good. And thanks for clarifying one thing - I was never sure if that was a “he” or a “she” or what...after all it is San Francisco...

Any truth to the rumor that this clown was offered the job of Obama’s press spokesman?

I just made up the “rumor” so that I can get prescient credit if this guy actually starts too work for the Messiah’s organization.

There isn't. They're scared of the FCC.

No, but $5 says he shows up in How-weird Stern's stable by the end of the year.

I predict he will be hosting an Air America show within the next 30 days.

For those of you who don't live in the SF Bay Area or within the range of KGO (50,000Watt), Karel was a semi-regular talk show host the station. I cannot stand this guy-not because he was a homosexual but because he in my opinion is a terrible talk show host. He was only on in time frames where not many people listen. He would cut off callers when they started to get the better of him in an argument. His shows were not very interesting at all.
I don't like talk show hosts getting the boot for what they have said and anyone can make a stupid remark when you think others are not listening. This is even though you are taught that the microphone is always on.
I would have preferred that Karel was taken off for low ratings. KGO may have been looking for a reason to can him. I hope KGO comes to its senses and starts to hire some good talent. It use to be a great radio station. It was about as fair and down the middle as you were going to get. In the last 10 years of so they moved to the left. That's probably because they were chasing listeners due to the emergence of two conservative radio stations who siphoned off a lot of their listeners.

He oughta call Obama to see if there are any openings in the WH or demoncrat Congress for a plumber hating fudgepacker.

What was obscene was the vast amount of Hate this liberal packed into so few words.

“His comments about Wurzelbacher arguably weren’t fleeting. In fact, Bouley used several colorful expletives to describe the Ohio everyman, as well as wishing him dead.”

I heard this perv’s rant when the incident happened. My guess is the “wishing him dead” part was his undoing....as it should be. It was maniacal and rather bazaar.

Ditto that...he used to be on KFI in LA years ago...he is a TERRIBLE talk show hose, regardless of his political leanings. I have a hunch he was only given so much latitude on KFI for so long because Bill Handel is such a homo lover.

“It is my responsibility, but not my fault,” he wrote.

...

Until he finds another radio job, Bouley plans to blog, podcast, and fill in for other radio hosts on request. “A girl’s gotta eat,” he says.

Karel was insufferable, just horrible. Like listening to a cruel, know-it-all, whiny four year old spoiled brat girl. I’m happy to have him off the air for any reason at all.

Jack Swanson, operations director at KGO is Melanie (Move America Forward) Morgan’s husband. Good for him!
