WASHINGTON – President-elect Obama has told Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid he's not interested in seeing Democrats oust Connecticut Sen. Joe Lieberman from their ranks over his endorsement of Republican John McCain.

Obama told Reid in a phone conversation last week that expelling Lieberman from the Democratic caucus would hurt the message of bipartisanship and unity that he wants for his new administration, a Senate Democratic aide said Tuesday. This aide spoke on condition of anonymity because the discussions were confidential.

The caucus is the meeting of all Senate Democrats and at the beginning of each Congress it chooses the body's leaders. Lieberman, a longtime Democrat most recently re-elected as an independent, has continued to meet with the Democratic caucus.

It’s all about a super majority to get their USSC appointments through a filibuster-proof Senate, along with shoving all their social-engineering plans down our throats...it’s got nothing to do with “bi-partisan” appearance.

I don’t agree with Senator Lieberman on some issues, but I do respect the man. He’s one of the last honest and decent Democrats around. Glad to see he may not get thrown under the bus.

They need him to get to 60. Still short, but they’ll need him eventually.

I’d be quite happy for Lieberman to join us in the Senate, so we can have a stronger filibuster. You see, Lieberman would have a stronger reason to sabotage Comrade Hussein if he were expelled, than some of these RINO clowns from the north east. So, make my day Dingy Harry, expel Lieberman from the RATS Party.

If Joe doesn't play ball with the Obama Chitown Crime Syndicate, he may end up with a horse's head in his bed.

Don Obamaleone, The Godfather, will make an offer Joe can't refuse.

LOL!
This is no leak.
This is a deliberate passing of info to the press, to make Hussein look “bipartisan”, which he's clearly not. He is the most partisan US senator out there. Just look at his voting record in the Senate.
Don't fall for it.

Although I wanna see all the RINO’s gone, it would be fun for Joe to defect to the republican side.
