Captain Ed has appointed himself the gatekeeper of online conservatism. I’m still trying to figure out what he has actually done for conservatism to have earned such a role.

Ed is a go along to get along moderate that is helping sink our party. Then again he lives here in Mn.

Done nothing that I can see. One can hear him and his Northern Alliance snots doing nothing for conservatism every Saturday on Mpls radio. They, like Hugh (or as as the WaPo retread Mike Allen says, Heeeeewww) Hewitt, prefer "center-right" doncha know.

Yeah, I’m not sure either. Unfortunately, McCain ran his campaign as if Capt. Ed was his main adviser.
