Well, the problem with this is that it shows land mass instead of population. You can comfort yourself with this graph or you can do something to change the numbers that landed us in 0bamaland.

Just out of curiosity, what is that big chunk of white in south-central Colorado?

When you govern like a liberal Democrat and run a moderate Democrat for president, you can expect to see a lot of blue.

It’s too bad the electoral votes are not split in each state. The election would have been much closer.

Indeed...that chart ignores the growing cancer of urban barbarianism.
If five to seven major urban areas were to disappear, this nation would elect a Republican president every time.

The blue blob advance must be stopped in a few strategic counties nationwide. For example, the TWO blue counties in Nevada gave the state to Obambi.

I'm troubled that all have bought into the color reversal. "rats are RED, not blue.
It's interesting that only OK had no counties for 0be (not sure of AK as it doesn't have counties? outlined).

This is so heartbreaking.
I knew Wisconsin went almost all blue, but I had no idea it is the bluest state outside of New England (by county.)
So depressing.

Scary how many counties that touch Mexican border voted Blue.
Wonder how many of those votes were illegal????

Nice to see that Buncombe County sticks out so nicely in the red counties of western NC. Asheville is like a blight on our beautiful mountains. I refuse to drive up there to the big mall. Instead I drive down the mountain to Greenville, SC when I need to do some shopping. I’d rather spend money in a nice red county :-)
Interesting to see that blue swatch of counties that runs through MS, AL, GA, SC, and NC. What’s up with that?

Interesting map. Plenty of places to move to if it hits the fan. I'm surprised and troubled to see so much of Iowa and Wisconsin as blue, otherwise things look about like I'd expect. I thought farmers were more the rugged individual types instead of Garrison Keillor like the map seems to say.
