Good point, it's DANG sure not. For much of the 70's and well into the 80's Texas had many (and I mean MANY) people from Michigan here, getting jobs in the earl bidness, because Detroit was letting them go.

They never liked how we did things here. It was TOO commont to hear people say "That's not how we did it in Michigan." Native Texans rolled their eyes, and didn't change anything.

All the native Michiganders left and most went back home, in the mid-80's. Our economy has boomed ever since.

Sounds to me like Michigan is about to be the new Oklahoma, and the Obama economy is about to be the new Dust Bowl. C'mon down, the jobs are fine.
