Well now, there’s a real shocker!

Get ready for another one. Now that Obama’s been elected, look for the “birth certificate and eligibility” issue to be aborted as well.

Afterward, look for the “unsavory associations” problem to go away (= completely ignored).

Power has its advantages (as long as you’re Democrat).

McCain faced an overwhelming Obama fundraising machine: While McCain accepted public financing and was limited to spending $84 million during the general election, Obama declined public funds and raised a record-breaking $640 million. National and state Democratic parties also outstripped Republican spending, hiring five to 10 times more paid staff than Republicans in swing states.

Un-friggin’-believable!!!

I hope that Rush, Hannity, O’Reilly, Savage, Hewitt, Malkin, etc., etc. raise a HUGE stink.

It is bad enough that the sack’o’shiite is going to be the President without having to prove that he’s a natural born citizen, AT LEAST audit the campaign!!!!!

“Heaven forbid we “embarrass” the Lord High Master Obama.”

That would be heresy. The Lord High Master would be most offended.

I HOPE the Republicans have learned a valuable lesson and will never again use public financing.
What a price they/we have paid for public financing!

Come on now, why is this outrageous?

Anyone with 'half-a-brain' knows that there will be serious consequences (and a big price to be paid) for anyone involved in questioning the vindictive Hussein Thugocracy in any way, shape or form!

If you're a government employee and you want to destroy your career--being involved in something like this is a sure way to do it!!!! What government employee in their right mind would take a chance like that?

Time to get Newt as the RNC Chair to go after this! McCain needs to tell the FEC to pound sand — it they don’t investigate both then I wouldn’t cooperate.

FEC investigates in the primary when no federal financing is involved so why not now? I know, you are not allowed to investigate Obama because it might seem racist. What a crock!

It is becoming increasing clear that Obama, and those that have been grooming him for this day, did their homework. From the missing birth certificate to the financing of his campaign, to how they would handle his associations with radicals and terrorists.

Two words have firmly planted themselves in the forefront of my brain; “trojan horse”.

All I can do is shake my head in bemusement. It is obvious that the rule of law is pretty much dead. The application of law is fast becoming a thing of caprice, expediency and oppression. This all depends on just who is the potential target of course. And this is only the beginning. Just wait until Hussein and the rats in congress get the judges they want on to the bench. And don’t count on a filibuster to do anything. I doubt there will be 41 votes and even if there are I doubt that the rats will balk at retooling the senate the rules to make the filibuster impotent.

Just another example of McCain’s idiocy for accepting public financing.

After all, look at how much time, effort and public discussion has already been spent on Sarah Palin’s clothes?? Campaign auditing and campaign transparency was finished with the investigation into that outrageous campaign spending and incredibly important issue. /s

“FEC analysts over the course of the campaign have written more than a dozen letters to Obama singling out hundreds of contributors for whom the campaign either didn’t supply adequate information or from whom he accepted donations exceeding the $4,600 limit. -Snip “

Oooh, someone wrote dozens of strongly worded letters. Where do I get a “FEC analyst” job like that??

In other words, you can break as many campaign finance laws as you want as long as you don’t take any taxpayer money??? That’s outrageous. That means that foreign people and foreign governments can finance the people of their choice with no ramifications.

I deal with SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) controls daily (is 80-85% of my life) in the business world... I/we have to follow the law... the “Chosen One’s” campaign should do same in political world.

Makes sense. Having the taxpayer pay for campaigns is stupid. Obama just did what McCain should have done...raise as much cash as possible. The problem with Obama is he hides the sources.

The only campaign finance rule needs to be all cash needs to be tracked back to a source and published online within 24 hours. Any violation of this rule means you give that donation time 10 to the federal government to help pay back the social security system. And anyone that reports a violation that is proven gets to take 10% of the amount of money misreported.

"Another factor: The FEC, which would have to vote to launch an audit, is prone to deadlocking on issues that inordinately impact one party or the other – like approving a messy and high-profile probe of a sitting president."

Didn't stop the FEC from auditing Bush/Cheney in 2004 as a sitting President!!!

STATEMENT OF COMMISSIONER ELLEN L. WEINTRAUB ON THE REPORT OF THE AUDIT DIVISION ON BUSH-CHENEY ’04, INC.

Yep, according to democrats, it's time to "MOVE ON"! Where have we heard that before?

Enough time, effort and public discussion has already taken place with the investigation into the money spent on Sarah Palin's "CLOTHES GATE". /s
