BUSH ANGER: OBAMA AIDES LEAK CHAT DETAILS
Drudge Report ^ | 11/11/2008 | Drudge

Just hours after President Bush and President-elect Obama met in the Oval Office of the White House, details of their confidential conversation began leaking out to the press, igniting anger from the president, sources claim.

"Senator Obama would be wise to keep close counsel," a top Bush source warned.

"BUSH AND OBAMA AT ODDS OVER AID FOR AUTO INDUSTRY," splashed the NEW YORK TIMES in an exclusive Monday evening, quoting "people familiar with the discussion."

The two met at the White House in private, without staff.

"Bush indicated at the meeting that he might support some aid and a broader economic stimulus package if Obama and congressional Democrats dropped their opposition to a free-trade agreement with Colombia," claimed the TIMES.

The ASSOCIATED PRESS quickly followed with details of the conversation, citing "aides who described the discussion on grounds of anonymity, citing the private nature of the meeting."

Bush advisers view the leaks as an effort to undermine the president's remaining days in office.

"Senator Obama may not be familiar with a long-standing tradition of presidents holding their private conversations, private," a senior adviser explained to the DRUDGE REPORT.

I guess they never heard of the expression: Loose lips sink ships.

A week away from the elections and he’s not making a very impressive figure for the president. If people learn that they can’t trust him....

In my estimation it's no coincidence that news of the covert attacks on the enemy in several non-cooperating countries just happened to leak out within hours of the Obama intelligence briefing. Some of these operations have been a secret for several years, then Obama gets his FIRST high-level briefing and just hours later they are on the front page of the NYT.

Self defense and self deception being what they are, I doubt the people who elected him will ever feel the pangs of guilt, but they should.

When you say “his exams” you should mention that these are exams that he Gave as a Law Professor, not Took as a Law Student. I believe the dates that he was a student were 1988 - 1991

Wikipedia:

Obama entered Harvard Law School in late 1988. At the end of his first year, he was selected, based on his grades and a writing competition, as an editor of the Harvard Law Review.[29] In February 1990, in his second year, he was elected president of the Law Review, a full-time volunteer position functioning as editor-in-chief and supervising the Law Review’s staff of eighty editors.[30] Obama’s election as the first black president of the Law Review was widely reported and followed by several long, detailed profiles.[30]

We really shouldn’t be surprised at this behavior. He’s an extreme Leftist RAT, and just sent a message to every leader on earth that there are no “private conversations” with B. Hussein Obama. What a great way to let people how you really are. Barack Hussein Obama, a real Peasant and pedestrian of a human being who will make Bill Clinton look like a Piker by the time his 4 years are up.

Our job, as I see it, is to point out every incidence that proves the point that O was not presidential material.

I think the best way to point out Obama's shortcomings is to say, with a slightly mournful tone, "We must choose our leaders on the basis of their character, not on the color of their skin." Throw Martin Luther King Jr.'s words right back at them, subtly showing how racist they were to vote for Obama just because he was black.

That's why we need a Newt Gingrich strategy for the Mid Term Elections. We haven't hit bottom, yet, but I have a feeling the Obama Presidency, Pelosi and Reid will assist us with replenishing the Republican ranks.

What we need is a complete list of SOLID Republican leaders that we can tap to run for key positions in 2010 and also LOOK RIGHT NOW at 2012 for a true leader for the Preidency...I don’t think running Sarah Palin in 2012 will win us the Presidency and I like her! But after 4 years of what an Obama Presidency and inexperience will do to America, we’re going to need to run a charismatic heavy hitting male leader who has been well experienced. We need a “contract with America part II”.

I’m with you. What Bush did wrong is well documented...immigration, lack of party leadership, campaign finance, reaching across the aisle, etc.

What he did right: The war on terrorism, leadership of the military, and restoration of dignity and class to the Presidency.

For that last one, regardless of his faults, I will always be grateful to him. The last eight years were great, not wondering what kind of perverted and crooked crap you were going to have to read about in the paper regarding the President.

Well...the leaking had to start with him, as it was he doing the blabbing about what he and THE PRESIDENT talked about.

Heck, he was probably wearing a wire so as not to have to tax his memory, trying to remember the conversation. POS extraordinaire!

Why would Bush be surprised that Team Obama failed to keep their promise to keep their chat details private?

Thanks for the links.

I thought you were referring Obama’s exams when he was a student at Columbia and Occidental. It surprised me since he hadn’t made any of his school records public.

Blabbermouth ‘Bama!
By Judi McLeod Tuesday, November 11, 2008

The New York Times today splashed the details of yesterday’s first meeting between President George W. Bush and President-elect Barack Hussein Obama. It was a private meeting between the president and president-elect with no staff attending.

To get the story out, once again the journalistically unprofessional NYT took advantage of citing unidentified sources, indicating their information came from “advisers to Mr. Obama”.

“Advisers to Mr. Obama” would have known nothing without Obama filling them in.

Meanwhile, among the legions of unknowns about Obama, and who he really is, comes a proven known: Obama blows confidences.

Ego comes first! Country and protocol second.
