Just hours after President Bush and President-elect Obama met in the Oval Office of the White House, details of their confidential conversation began leaking out to the press, igniting anger from the president, sources claim.
"Senator Obama would be wise to keep close counsel," a top Bush source warned.
"BUSH AND OBAMA AT ODDS OVER AID FOR AUTO INDUSTRY," splashed the NEW YORK TIMES in an exclusive Monday evening, quoting "people familiar with the discussion."
The two met at the White House in private, without staff.
"Bush indicated at the meeting that he might support some aid and a broader economic stimulus package if Obama and congressional Democrats dropped their opposition to a free-trade agreement with Colombia," claimed the TIMES.

The ASSOCIATED PRESS quickly followed with details of the conversation, citing "aides who described the discussion on grounds of anonymity, citing the private nature of the meeting."
Bush advisers view the leaks as an effort to undermine the president's remaining days in office.
"Senator Obama may not be familiar with a long-standing tradition of presidents holding their private conversations, private," a senior adviser explained to the DRUDGE REPORT.
Developing...
no military secrets are safe.
If we were upset about clinton selling satelite secrets, imagine what a leaky obama(tax) administration is going to do to us.
Obama has not even taken office and already he is falling appart.
“A few visits to Israel and other nations would help this nation to give a preview of 2012.”
Yeah, but that doesn’t seem to win over American Jews, that’s for sure.
My guts also telling me that Omama, who doesn't get a background check because he's elected, will only be given TS info on a very restricted need-to-know basis by the information brokers within the NSA, Pentagon and other standing Washington DC agencies. He and his aids can't be trusted to keep a secret from the press, or the public.
My mother taught us not to say that when we were practically toddlers. She would say “which eye is that?”
So now when I hear a commentator or politician say “him and I” my brain automatically responds (with derision!) “which eye is that?”
Guess the honeymoon is over. One of President Bush’s greatest faults is treating democrats like honorable people. He hasn’t learned in 8 years that it’s not reality.
I already paid for my car,now I’m expected to keep paying,(thru higher taxes) to the incompetent company that produced it!
When are we supposed to get pissed off? Those of us who have suffered in the last two elections because you have undermined the high ground every time you brought a disgraced, impeached president into the White House and fêted him, every time you brought Teddy Kennedy into the White House and munched popcorn with him, have been pissed off for a long time.
Surely between now and the inauguration Day, George, there will be plenty more opportunities for you to bend over and grab your ankles.
Perfect.
I hope leaders all over the world are paying very, very close attention.
Meanwhile, he gets classified intel briefings.
God help us.
I will always admire President Bush. I believe wholeheartedly that he wants people to be free but he has been the biggest scapegoat for the biggest takeover of freedom in US history. Both sides of the isle are like human parasites eating up everything in their path. Why anyone who loves freedom would ever want to be President is beyond me.
Obama will probably give away military secrets to al-qaida to buy a “10-year truce.”
This might be a silly question but the Oval office carpet used to be blue. When did it change to the current cream color?
In four years, he could be disposable. Even Obama knows that.
In a few months, you’ll start to see the most liberal moonbat boards start to implode. They need a scapegoat and the Republicans are completely gone. Obama won’t pull the troops out fast enough. He won’t close Gitmo fast enough. He won’t remove the wiretaps and Patriot Act fast enough. The Democrats will boot the moonbats and war will be declared.
Obama’s biggest enemies are within his own base right now.
Obama's plane smelled.
Obama cannot be this witless.
He is such an amateur, in so many ways. Unsophisticated in the ways of the world and the ways a gentleman conducts himself. The media complained about Palin’s lack of sophistication, but sophistication consists not only of how one speaks and dresses; in fact, some of the most astute people I know have a very down-home accent, wear jeans, and could lap a British diplomat at the negotiating table. Obama may wear nice suits and speak well, but his lack of experience shows in small ways like this and in larger ways like the clear shock he had during his first security briefing.
We are going to be more embarrassed by him than we ever were by George Bush’s verbal slips. In a few years the Europeans are going to be chastising us for electing such a novice.
Get used to it W. This is only the bare beginning ... Barfsack Obozo and his thugs, with the aid of the Rat congress critters and the Pravda press, are going to charge you and Cheney with “war crimes” and try to send you both to stinkin’ prison.
Maybe they will spare your wives and let them stay at home, to show their compassion.
Bush should just say no on the buggy whip bailout btw. This is getting ridiculous.
“TS info on a very restricted need-to-know basis”
Like an interim TS clearance as the military uses.
