Barack Obama has created a stir by proclaiming that he heads “The Office of President-Elect” — an office that does not officially exist.
At his first news conference on Nov. 7, Obama stood at a podium bearing a sign that read: “Office of the President-Elect. Also, his Web site, Change.gov, bears the words “Office of the President-Elect” at the top of its home page.
Writer Larry Anderson referred to the “made-up little title” on the American Thinker Web site, and declared: “I nearly busted a gut ...
“Once again, [Obama] can’t wait to invest himself with the trappings of office.”

The guy is such a f***in idiot! I’m one of those people that said there was no way I could ever vote for a rino like McCain (see tag line from primaries) but I did because this guy is such a rube
His followers won’t know the difference.
The idea of an “Office” of President-Elect is farcical, but speaks volumes about the man’s ego.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Presidential limousine decked out like a Pimp-Mobile.
Didn’t Chevrolet already do that in one of their President’s Day commercials?
it’s all about the sizzle
When I saw that sign, I near dropped dead. It was so “wannabe”, so low class.
My son turned to me and said, the presidency lost its gravitas. He’s run his campaign like an MTV commercial, now he’s going to cheapen the presidency.
The sad thing is, people have been so exposed to MTV they don’t see there is something wrong doing that to our highest office.
I keep wondering if the reporters see this man’s total lack of class or humility. My guess is they see it, but their slavish cultism keeps their eyes from sending the message to their brains.
If Bush had EVER gone after a reporter for making fun of his ears, or said, “He disrespected ME!” in a major speech, or put a sign that looked like it was from Kinko’s up on his podium, the MSM would have gone after him in a howling, indignant fury.
But it’s a black radical dem, so Obama could dance in his birthday cake (like an article I saw some “stars” do in JET once) and people would think it’s cute.
My son sent me one to replace my “W” sticker. It has a large “O” and way small underneath it says “s**t”

All the glory of playing President for two months with no responsibility!
He is trying to invest himself with all the powers of the office before he is compelled to provide the evidence that he is actually a "natural born citizen" per the Constitution and thus qualified to hold that office.
How about
“The Office of the 57,000,000 Who Said No!”
It’s a cheesy looking sign and that group behind him, well, I’ll refrain from saying what I’m thinking.

or how about “The Office of the Knights who say NI!”
I had a thought yesterday concerning The One’s status as a senator. Assuming his focus is on the transition, he won’t be doing any senator type business. So I think we should start a drive to get his senate pay stopped. No senate work, no pay. Hell, stop Biden’s too.
I realize it’s probably a pipe dream, but it sure would serve to remind these Senaturds who they work for.
This reminds me of Dwight from The Office constantly insisting on referring to himself as “Assistant Regional Manager”
