Barack Obama has created a stir by proclaiming that he heads “The Office of President-Elect” — an office that does not officially exist.
At his first news conference on Nov. 7, Obama stood at a podium bearing a sign that read: “Office of the President-Elect. Also, his Web site, Change.gov, bears the words “Office of the President-Elect” at the top of its home page.
Writer Larry Anderson referred to the “made-up little title” on the American Thinker Web site, and declared: “I nearly busted a gut ...
“Once again, [Obama] can’t wait to invest himself with the trappings of office.”

There even isn’t a President-Elect until Congress counts and ratifies the results of the Electoral College in early January.
The Office of the President-elect comes from the Presidential Transition Act of 1963.

Even with the World economy melting down, he will do NO wrong. This exactly what I feared most starting a year ago, when the media began covering for him and guzzling the Marxist Koolaid.
In my mind, I keep seeing the scene from “The Mummy” in which the zombies walk in cadenced steps with outstreched arms saying,”O - BA - MA! O - BA - MA!”

I agree, these guys are all about fancy logos and signs. Too bad there is no substance behind the facade. It’s been all marketing from day one.
