Well almost. My statement would have been the same no matter what "cause" they were espousing. It's their actions that would justify shooting 'em, not their amorous practices. For those you have to pity them.
Wearing masks and carrying an axe?
Shoot em. Period.
You know, as I sat in church yesterday morning, I was rehearsing in my mind what I would do if a group disrupted the worship service. I was in the back of the chapel, sitting next to a disabled elderly woman we help each Sunday. On the stand were the children of the congregation, putting on a special program. My own kids are grown and gone. I was wondering if I would stay and help the disabled lady (who would probably get in a few whacks herself if anyone came near) or if I would get her toward the stand and help protect and comfort the children while the men took care of the protesters.
Of course, nothing happened but I wouldn’t discount the chances. (I go to a Mormon congregation in Central California and we are the main ones blamed for Prop 8, even though we were not alone in getting it done or even the most prominent.) At noon today I had a quick lunch in the church parking lot, thinking I would keep an eye open for anyone scoping out the building. Sad to be paranoid but just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean someone isn’t out to get you.
I doubt the churchgoers were really all that confused.
More media bias trying to make them look like simpletons or children.
United States Code, Title 18 Section 241. Conspiracy against rights

Interesting.....maybe the queer anarchists are targeting the LDS because they think it will be easier, because other Christians won’t close ranks? Well in my case, that won’t work. This Catholic would stand shoulder to shoulder with my Mormon or Jewish or other brothers. Basically, it’s western civilization vs. barbarism and a new dark age, and we need to defend civilization...all of us...together.
Now we just need to find DAs with the integrity and guts to enforce the law.
I don’t think they will be prosecuted.
Now, if it had been two old ladies outside an abortion mill....
This is what a more “tolerant” society leads to. If immoral behavior is condemned from the get go, this NEVER would have happened. Instead us good folks have to just suck it up and deal with these evil peoples actions. Disgusted beyond belief.
Thank you. And we will do the same. Anyone persecuted for their faith (provided it is a peaceful faith) should be supported by all faithful persons. Of course, our congregation is fairly well prepared in case of need. I can think of at least four cops in the congregation and there’s some pretty strong brethren who are ready and able to move on any problem. When we got hassled by No on 8 people while waving Yes on 8 signs last week, our cops were right there on top of it. A year or so ago a woman with a mental illness suddenly started laughing out loud (at an inappropriate time) and walking toward the stand. Instantly there were four hefty guys walking her out the door. It happened so fast many people were not even aware of what was happening. I just like to think how I would handle the situation. But I know we would have allies in the community from other congregations.
I have no doubt that the typical LDS congregation can muster 4 or more beefy guys when needed...
But it’s good to know other fellow Americans have your back. We must hang together, or we’ll all hang alone.
You walk into our church armed like that and I guarantee you you’ll be leaving with your weapons, but you won’t need your hands to carry them!
These thugs are obviously threatening enough that swift action would be justifiable.
I can't tell for sure, but that might be Barney Frank in drag.
A masked mob brandishing weapons. Any reasonable person would see that as a deadly threat. This mob is using the same intimidation tactics as the old KKK.
pulling a firearm in a church? Dear Lord!! Pray, pray, pray!
LOL. We got a few beefy women also. That disabled woman by me could account for half a dozen alone just using her cane.
sounds like that comedy central skit where they had a homosexual clan. (pink sheets)
