Years ago, when I was in my twenties, a family friend (from the WWII generation), said it was going to take something disasterous to get this country morally back on the right track. It was one of those comments that gave me chills and struck me as being true...I have been hoping and praying the comment was wrong, but I don’t think so.
I am sure your old family friend was correct. And I think that time is closer than ever.
