MCCL targeted the two worst Positive Alternatives foes for defeat: Ken Tschumper (La Crescent) and Shelley Madore (Apple Valley). Both made efforts to de-fund Positive Alternatives; both were replaced by prolife leaders.

In spite of all the gloom over the impending reign of 0bama there are several reasons we know of why Conservatism will rise and win in the future. Hopefully in the mid-term elections of 2010.

Aside from this thread:

Prop 8, which banned gay marriage in CA passed because of the overwhelming support of black voters, even though they voted overwhelmingly for 0bama. CA, HQ for Hollywood the homo-agenda with all their money and influence could not stop Prop 8 in one of the most lib states of all.

The media that had a tremendous impact on helping 0bama win will have a more difficult time in 2010 and onward as the people clearly know the fix was in. As he and the Dems will inevitably screw up, the media cred will further erode as they try to cover for their Marxist Messiah. Backlash will happen.

From: The Polls Show That Reaganism Is Not Dead
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122628429302812557.html

“Mr. Obama won the White House promising tax cuts, but he will be governing with a Democratic Congress bursting with desire for a more activist government. As he faces this challenge, he might remember the fate of another man who made taxes the central part of his campaign: the first President Bush, whose most memorable campaign line — “Read my lips, no new taxes” — was as central to his victory as Mr. Obama’s promise to cut taxes for 95% of Americans. George H.W. Bush famously reneged on that promise. Voters rejected his bid for a second term.”

0bama will most certainly renege on his tax promises and will be hurt badly because of it as will many dems.

And on Pro-Life: 0bama will energize and galvanize the Pro-Life movement like a RINO McCain never could or would have. We’ll defeat FOCA and come out stronger for it.

So yes it will be tough and we will have big struggles but that means we simply will have to work harder. I believe we will purge many RINOs in the process, and the Party of Reagan will come out more Conservative and Stronger than ever. And that will be very good for America.

Not to sound prejudicial: but exactly what I thought, the other day, I was getting gas at the SA: and the good Muslims from Somalia, the lady had an Obama sticker on her car. I’m sure, FOCA is Islamic, huh? (the round figure for Somalians here, is like 80-100,000 I believe).

Not exactly the experience we want in voting in political elections with Norm Coleman and John McCain running in. Makes one wish for the good ol’ days, when Chicago Mobsters looked at St. Paul for their safehaven.
