As he prepares to take office, President-elect Barack Obama is relying on a small team of advisers who will lead his transition operation and help choose the members of a new Obama administration. Following is part of a series of profiles of potential members of the administration.
Name: Jamie Gorelick
Being considered for: Attorney general
Would bring to the job: A wide-ranging Washington résumé that spans corporate, legal and national security affairs. Ms. Gorelick (pronounced Guh-REH-lick) was the No. 2 official at the Justice Department in the Clinton administration, from 1994 to 1997, and if chosen would be the second woman to be named attorney general, following her former boss, Janet Reno. Ms. Gorelick would also bring corporate experience to an Obama administration at a time of financial crisis

Meanwhile, the MSM remains under it’s self-imposed gag order.
Do these people think governing is some kind of game? Do they realize what’s at stake? We are the LONE superpower in the world and mental toddlers have been left in charge.
Don’t forget the over 25 million she looted from Fannie as her buddy Franky Raines ran it into the ground. Culture of corruption does not to begin to describe what Barry is planning to do. If he even names her to the White House kitchen staff you will know he cares nothing about reform.
Jamie Gorelick. Another one that should be locked up in Leavenworth.
Yeah, like that will ever happen. Repub legislators have a peculiar talent for roaring like lions at home and bleating like sheep in Washington.
If anyone expects the Pubs in Washington to slow down the runaway socialist freight train that's bearing down on us at full steam they're in for a big disappointment. By this time next year we will be longing for the good old Clinton days.
The same Jamie Gorelick who put up ‘the wall’ between the FBI and CIA during the Clinton administration? The same Jamie Gorelick who made something like 26 mill off her tim at [the now falied] Fannie Mae? Oh yeah, that’s change.
You said it...It would be interesting to see if any, just one republican, if there are any on the committee that has the task of interviewing her for confirmation, has the guts to even bring this up. If not, then we out here in fly over land will see just what is ahead..and that we have no leaders in position now. Time to think about leaving the country of our birth for one oh like Australia where they will call a spade a spade.
Is there ANYTHING she’s been involved in that hasn’t turned into a major cluster %$$#%^ ?
The appointment of attorney general was being discussed this morning on CNN and three names were mentioned.
1-Eric Holder-He is said to be the strongest contender at this point.

2.-Arizona governor Janet Napolitano

3.-Massachusetts governor Devall Patrick

I believe Sean warned about this, only he calls her GORElick. LOL!!
Thank you. This is all that needs to be said.
“wow.. it’s like Clinton II... except this time the lead role is actually a Black President”
Could it be that the Clintons will get the last laugh. Obama may serve, as president, the same role as Janet Reno, did as Attorney General. If this is the case, the Clintons have outmaneuvered Obama, and he may not even realize it. If the Clintons don’t fade in obivion, this could be the reason.
“Can we FOOL 90% of the American People???? YES WE CAN”!!!!
“Her Law Firm, Wilmer Hale, has been instrumental in defending GITMO detainees.”
Radio, do you know who may be paying for these services?
I can’t imagine the billable time is cheap.
We don't have enough votes to filibuster. We already know McCain won't support one.
I would actually welcome Gorelick as AG. It will put her under he spotlight for her Fannie Mae shenanigans.
When I saw this thread I almost went postal, then I started thinking...her confirmation hearings would be the perfect time to expose how much damage she has done to this country. I will be calling and writing my senators (Jeff Sessions and Richard Shelby) several times a day if she is nominated.
The Kleptocrats are inside the wire.
