I hope Sarah Palin isn’t throwing President Bush under the bus. She of all people, besides President Bush himself, should know how the media can skewer and rake you over the coals to shape public perception.

The media smelled blood. Bush handed them everything they needed. My god, wake up! Bush starved the war 04-6 for political reasons and magically found out we we were losing, when ??? NOVEMBER 2006. Yet everyone knew we were losing but the commander and chief and his dwinding followers like ME and YOU. With the bailout he gave Pelosi Obama everything they need to takeover the entire economy. Jeeze. There are so many Bush believers!
To ALL, I love you Sarah:

Exactly. She also has not had to deal with rival factions within the govt bureaucracies who undermined Pres Bush so often that I wonder how he was able to trust anybody. I am a big fan of Gov Palin but I will not be for long if in fact she makes judgments about his presidential tenure without knowing the facts involved in his decisions. He had a war to run, kept this country safe for 7 years, and had to get money to pay for it from a hostile democrat congress who played politics with the lives of our military. If the various Republican Party factions think they can rebuild the party by continuing to use Pres Bush as their scapegoat they might as well not bother, they will not succeed but only drive more Republicans to go Independent. Including me.

LOL, yep....the first sign of a desperate pol is to invoke the “Bush’s fault” excuse.
It’s the only way to get good press these days.

To me, the phrase “throwing under the bus” applies to a situation where a person is shifting the blame from themself to someone who is blameless.
She can’t throw Bush “under the bus” because in the points she raises, she is absolutely correct. It was Bush’s fault.
