That’s ridiculous...what would motivate McCain’s people to go after Palin now? He is never going to run for anything outside of Arizona again. Romney’s people just need to get over themselves and embrace Palin so their boy can walk along side her. Her light is not going to be extinguished. The attacks are counterproductive.

If you don’t want your party going to the right, and you know that is the direction Sarah will take it, and she is defying you by speaking her mind and the crowds are loving it - how do you silence her?

Either Carl Cameron is a liar and these are Democratic operatives - or they were as he said “Highly placed Aides”.
As such, McCain had no Romney “highly placed Aides” these were McCain’s personal staff. Many of his staff have come out and denied this, who is remaining? His daughter, and he and his wife. I don’t think Cindy is involved. I came to admire her. I never did learn to trust or like McCain.
McCain continues to be silent. He has not tried to squelch this one bit. He at least has knowledge of it.
