Blogging from Phoenix: GOP insiders are reporting, former presidential candidate Mitt Romney is making his anticipated bid for control of the Republican Party. Political insiders also claim he is quickly becoming the principle figure behind continued efforts to ramp up public attacks on Sarah Palin. The strategy to ridicule Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin, is a tactic intended to discourage her from any attempt to seek National influence. She is viewed by the RNC establishment, as the most potentially dangerous threat to their hold on the infrastructure of the party. I am told by a source in the Palin inner circle of advisers and confidants, The old boys per usual are several fatal steps behind, the potential threat is already executing plans and circling for the kill shot.

The people will speak. If we could just keep the liberals out of our primaries.
Oh, that Romney...
If it’s true that Romney is behind these attacks on Palin, he is unqualified to be President.
Go away Mitt. If he couldn’t beat the sorry bunch that ran for 2008 nomination, how the hell does he think he’d be able to win nationally?
Palin will grow and mature, but Romney has already done enough to convince me he can join the Bush family on the sidelines permanently.
Mitt better realize that the Republican base is conservative and he isn’t, and will have nothing to do with him, especially if he tries to trash Sarah Palin.
Go Mitt!
I would like to see that smile and laughter on taxpayers faces.
We don’t need Romney if this is true that he is behind attacking Sarah Palin.
Conservatives love Palin.
Sorry Mitt.
Time for new faces.
Hey Mitt......’Don’t go away mad....just go away...’ ;)
Palin Power all the way!!!!
We can. End open primaries and institute a rule that the voter must have registered Republican for at least the past six months, perhaps even longer.
Just what keeps Romney busy these days?
Sarah. No contest.
Romney is another liberal, like McCain and Giuliani.
Sarah is a conservative.
I voted Keyes this election.
If Sarah had been at the top of a ticket with no liberals in it - I would have voted for her.
No liberals. Ever.
The RNC isn’t getting another dime from me. In fact, I’m considering switching party affiliation to “I”. Or maybe even “D” so I’m able to do the primaries thing.
I see/hear rumor, but little proof.
Until I see Mitt on TV or print quoted saying, “Sarah Palin is a moron” or other nonsense, Mitt has the benefit of the doubt.
I see this as more sh!t that just divides us.
One lesson we just learned—again was Liberal Republicans-—lose!
Saracuda/2012
I’ll qualify that earlier statement: it’s mostly because of the treatment of Sarah Palin.
Go Sarah!
