This is the best analysis of the 2008 Presidential Election that I have read so far.

The GOP lost because Mitt Romney adopted the tactics
from Mountain Meadow Massacre upon Gov.Palin and her chldren.

America will suffer deeply because of Romney’s treason.

This election was orchestrated - and it was the electorate that was played.

It was precisely W’s New Tone which was responsible for the Republicans’ diminished standing. A true wimp in the face of political venom. Had he effectively lead his party in slapping down the Democrat slander of our fighting men and women in the military, the American people would have followed as well. Instead, he ceded the field of political battle to the traitors.

And now we see the results.

A co-worker told me a year ago that the GOP could nominate the risen Christ and still lose. I agreed.

Republican U.S. Sen. John McCain lost his bid for the White House mainly because anti-incumbent fury doomed him from the start, analysts say.

No when you have a socialist and a socialist lite running, and your base will not vote for you, the middle will break 2 to 1 against you. A couple of the people in the primary would have made a better showing, if not actually winning.

McLAME LOST because he started a campaign of “CIVILITY” and “HONESTY” which NEVER works against SOCIALISTS!!

Then Instead of pouncing on the DEMS when needed, he smacks down Willie Cunningham for calling Barak ... HUSSEIN.. an WORKABLE CAMPAIGN Tactic, but McLAME was ABOVE all that.

He DESERVED TO LOSE! .. and without SARAHCUDA, Mclame would have lost by a MONDALE sized Landslide!

I wonder how the election would have turned out if McCain simply adopted the will of the people and voted against the bailout.

He would have had a point and could have drove it right into Obama’s heart.

A fair media coverage of the election would of changed the course. also the collapse of the sub prime market also made a difference. Of course Georgie boy played a decisive influence as well. But if just one of these things would have been different the election would of been different as well. All we needed was one of them.

“Analysts” huh?
Did these analysts also remember that McCain was actually ahead by 3% at RCP a week after the RNC convention, when Gov Palin energized the Republican base, and they had exposed what an empty suit Obambi was?
And do they also recall that the McCain's slide started with the massive stock market meltdown?
Not to mention McCain totally suspending his campaign (even as Obambi bought up all the freed McCain TV ad slots), and then going on to vote for a very unpopular bailout bill.
McCain didn't really want to win. He was very successful in that.

No, the reason was America has a illiterate electorate regarding the Constitution, economics, history and current events (Besides celebrity and mass media propaganda).

All one has to do is ask which specific Executive Order did Bush sign that started this mess. Let us get to the root of the problem, not excuses for the problem.

What they don’t say is, as a moderate who “reached across the aisle”, McCain failed to excite the Republican base, who in turn declined to write big checks. As a result he had no choice but to rely on public funding, with the results that he was vastly outspent.

Yes, I have to agree that Democrats have been brainwashing people for eight years now that GW Bush "stole" the election from Gore.

McDole was chosen by my (cough, cough) “independent” friends here in NH. Who all curiously (not) went on to vote for Obama in the general.

The fix was in. NH needs to lose its status as first in the nation now that is pretty solidly blue. Or at least limit it to GOP/Ind only registered. Not pick a ticket.

McCain made many missteps, but they didn't matter much because it was clear no Republican stood much of a chance in the 2008 election with voters overwhelmingly blaming President George Bush and the GOP for the nation's problems, The Arizona Republic reported Sunday.

It would have been nice to have had an actual Republican on the ballot so that we could have found out!

Before I will agree with this, I will require a plausable explanation as to why the electorate could not have been swayed if the media AND McCain had done their jobs. When Obama and Biden could say anything and do anything no matter how stupid and get a free pass, that is the agenda of the media.

When clowns like Brokaw can say to Charlie Rose: We don't know anything about this guy while "this guy" has a history that can be reviewed, THAT is what made it inevitable.

When you can have a candidate like McCain, who ran for ten years for an office he didn't really want, THAT made it inevitable.

The only thing fated is what happens. What will happen isn't yet fate.

lost to Democratic opponent Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois last week in an electoral college landslide.

Someone is full of it.

The electoral college doesn't even MEET to vote until December 15th.
