What a bunch of bull from the most phony politician of them all.. Hillary Clinton.
From Time.com:
What becomes now of Hillary Clinton? Will she run again for President? Make a bid for Senate majority leader? Go home to New York and run for governor? Does she covet a job in Barack Obama's Cabinet or maybe an appointment to the Supreme Court? No, no, no and no, come the answers. As she told me recently, "I'm going to be focused, as I always have been, on what we're going to get done. I'm not interested in just enhancing my visibility. I'm interested in standing on the South Lawn of the White House and seeing President Obama signing into law quality, affordable health care for everybody, and voting in a big majority for clean, renewable energy and smarter economic policies. That's what I'm all about, and I'm going to use every tool at my disposal to bring it about."
The only good thing that comes out of a Hussein Obama presidency is that he’s driven a stake through Hillary’s presidential ambitions. She wont challenge The One in 2012, and by 2016 she’ll be too old and forgotten.
We need to stop focussing on the presidential race in 2012. We need to take back state houses and Congress in 2010 first. Forget about Sarah Palin for a while. Forget about Romney and the other losers from 2008. We chip away at Hussein Obama’s power by winning local, state, and congressional races. We hold him in check from 2010 onward, and then work on getting a real conservative as our candidate in 2012. We need to use the internet the way Hussein did. He beat us like a drum. Lets use his own strategy against him, starting from this moment. And we dont let the left wing media force another Captain Queeg on us ever again!!!
Welcome to FR.
If Obama is Carter’s second term or worse, Hillary will make her move in 2012. If it hadn’t been for the hostage crisis, Teddy Kennedy would have been the Dem nomineein 1980. Hillary will run in 2012 and barring a major foreign policy crisis during the primaries (good luck on that, Hillary, with Mr. Magic Unicorn running things) she can take it away from him.
Of course, if that scenario plays out, I see the GOP getting the White House back, because “4 years of my party holding the Presidency and both houses of Congress has been a disaster but if you elect me it will be different” is not going to be a winning argument.
And if I were Hillary I’d take Harry Reid down or accept an offer to be on the SCOTUS. Either one is a sure bet to have massive power until she’s in her eighties.
“I think obama is going to make her some kind of health czar and have her run his socialist health care plan.
We should be so lucky. You can rest assured HRC has no intention of letting BHO get credit for HER idea. Were he to do so, you can rest assured she would take the fat pitch he had given her for payback and slam it out of the park.
She would figure out a way to ensure the plan died spectacularly without a trace of her fingerprints. She could do so by baiting Obama’s tempestuous and highly partisan chief of staff, Rahm Emmanuel, into making some impolitic remarks that incite Republicans to block the plan. Or she could work behind the scenes to ensure that either Pelosi or Reid don’t end up with the votes they thought they had and the bill is killed in an up-or-down vote. In the post-mortems following the plan’s demise, there would be all manner of “unauthorized” leaks showing how BHO had tied her hands and not given her the authority to negotiate a reasonable compromise, or Rahm Emmanuel kept trying to meddle, resulting in too many cooks who spoiled the broth etc. You can be certain the picture painted would be one of a reasonable and responsible HRC being blocked at every turn by misogynists in WH who got in her way due to jealousy, incompetence, partisanship, massive egos or raw inexperience. Hillary’s 16 years in Washington, in conjunction with the residual bitterness among PUMAs about how she was treated, perfectly position her to deal herself a royal flush. Indeed, one could argue that her entire career would have prepared her for this moment: it would be the height of naivete to think she wouldn’t take advantage of it.
So just as Teddy Kennedy did in 1980 against Jimmy Carter (who wasn’t making the headway Kennedy thought he should be on health reform!), she would challenge BHO in 2012 arguing that she’d tried to warn everyone about his inexperience, but that 2012 was the time to turn to someone who actually knows how to get things done.
Watch and be amazed...
Hillary is far less qualified to sit on the Supreme Court than Harriet Miers, and has a lot more skeletons in her closet (not that the confirmation hearings would delve into any of her scandals).
Agreed. The problem is that the good conservatives are not going to go into politics. They are going to run businesses and create opportunities for others. A few of the best need to suck it up and throw their hats in the ring. It does not have to be a forever thing, just a few good years.
The now famous story of Emanuel and the steak knife in 1992 is being dismissed as a right-wing delusion but I'm convinced it is absolutely true.
So why would Rahm Emanuel not be happy with the Clintons since the steak knife incident. The Clintons made him wealthy beyond belief. Emanuel in turn endorsed Hillary for the Presidency.
Captain Zero is surrounding himself with Clintonista's. It is almost surreal that the position of Chief of Staff fell into the hands of a man who has demonstrated nothing but blind loyalty to the Clintons for decades. Thus the need for a MSM contrived estrangement between Emanuel and Hillary.
IMHO Hillary has no intention of waiting to 2012, let alone 2016, to eliminate Your O-ness. Imagine a listening device with legs in the Oval Office in full view of the occupant. Looks like Don Clintoleone has a plan. Keep your friends close and . . . . . .
makes sense cause she’s looking to 2012.
The smart political move would actually be Governor. It would broaden her “experience” and really make the case that she is not just riding Bill’s coattails.
But I doubt she’ll do that.
Too bad for us too, because she would be a disaster as Governor. In the Senate she’s protected because you can’t blame just Hillary for anything.
I lost a fiver betting that Hillary would make her move on Barfsack Uhhbama just before the election, and I was puzzled for a few days after.
I'm thinking that her advisers analyzed the scenario, and concluded that the new president was going to be stuck trying to stomp out the burning bag of dogpoop that is the economy. Uhhbama's going to get it ALL over him, and Hillary will be smelling like a rose in a year or less.
See my post #30.
No doubt she is done. I think we can say that she’ll NEVER be president. That’s probably the best “take away” from the election.
You've nailed it. This is where our focus should be.
BINGO - plus by 2016 she will look like poop.
I think you are right. Her moment has passed. She would be better off on the lecture circuit talking about how things would have been much better had she been elected.
I also think that she may run for one more term in the senate but I think here drive to be part of the political machine will wane because the big prize can never be her’s. On the other hand, if Obama really screws up she may challenge him in the 2012 primaries.

Not this.
I would have welcomed Hillary to the white house as president in 09 not that illegal alien Barrack
She’ll turn 69 in October, 2016...
She’ll be way too old by 2016.
I don’t think she’s headed for the Supreme Court, either. ZerO would not put someone on there that doesn’t hold him in high regard, and she doesn’t. ZerO is going to try to find some seriously far younger leftists to make sure they’re on there as long as possible. Besides, PIAPS isn’t even close to qualified to be on the SC, and I think the Bar Association would say so ( they’d want younger, farther left, too) She has never been a judge, nor is she a legal theorist, and was not a player in trial practice with the Rose firm when she was there. The GOP could Bork her easily, should they desire to ( and they would)because of her lack of anything resembling real legal experience.
Unless she goes for a Governor slot, she’s going to be Senator-for-life Hillary Rob’em Clinton.
