Advice for critics of the president-elect when they feel themselves sliding towards irrational rage.
--------------------------------
I suggest that everyone stand back, take a deep breath, and wait. Wait, and observe. It will become clear enough as Obama chooses a Cabinet and advisers. And then it will become even more clear as he takes office and begins the work of government. More clarity will come as he handles the inevitable crises and tests that will occur on his watch.
The goal of each of us should be to react only to evidence, not fear. Thats not easy. But our task is actually easier than that of our predecessors, the sufferers from BDS. After all, they had an MSM whipping them up into a frenzy twenty-four hours a day. In addition, those on the right have always taken pride in the fact that in their political decisions they are driven more by reason, in contrast to the lefts emotion. Whether or not this is true is not the issue here; the point is that, if conservatives believe it is true, they should act in accordance....

I've been hearing from some quarters that we need to support President 0bama, and hope and pray for his success. Given that we know in advance what his agenda is and how destructive it will be, and given that we know that Clinton's fairly successful Presidency regained credibility for Democrats, I have to disagree with that philosophy.
If 0bama succeeds, we'll have even more Democratic control of the country, which will destroy the America we love. Resist, early and often. I would agree with the author's point that we should only resist where it is rational to resist, as otherwise we risk becoming another version of "the boy who cried wolf".

I keep telling myself this. But every day I read something else that makes me feel as though we've all put our hands in something warm and smelly.
I just can't believe this.

Wait? Wait for evidence of what?

sliding towards irrational rage There is nothing irrational about my smoldering hatred ('rage' is a little too strong for the moment). The dems mostly had to invent things to hate Bush for. Barry, on the other hand, has a whole trainload of verifiable reasons.

"The goal of each of us should be to react only to evidence, not fear. Thats not easy. But our task is actually easier than that of our predecessors, the sufferers from BDS." Sufficient evidence is already in. The selection of Rahm Emanuelle as chief of staff is all that is needed. "Rahmbo" makes the deceased Lee Atwater look like a bi-partisan moderate.
And any Republican who expected anything different is an idiot. The Pubbies (and that includes John McCain) have yet to grasp that the Dems play hardball, to WIN, and they do so ALL THE TIME, no holds barred.

"Advice for critics of the president-elect when they feel themselves sliding towards irrational rage. The friend of my enemy is my enemy.

Not surprisingly, I concur.
Looks like he's another con-servative trying to con us into playing nice with the jug-eared marxist messiah.
No, I think I want to play with a rabid rat.

Chill out for a moment. Obama’s honeymoon lasted about 30 seconds (see actions by Russia, et al). The MSN is already having a problem with their selection of our president. The Kos Kids, union leaders, Code Pinkos and others will be livid when Obama does not come through for them on January 21. BDS sufferers will become ODS sufferers very quickly.
Let’s enjoy that and work toward taking back the Congress in 2010.

We’re already going to get Romneycare. You know, the wonderful socialized health care system that is floundering in MA? Just what we need.

You're correct ! So, let's go with what we already do know because I don't actually have to drink poison Kool-Aid to know its bad for me.
We know for a fact that Hussein Obama wants to spread the wealth around.
We also know for a fact that Hussein Obama has close ongoing relationships with convicted terrorists Billy Ayers and Beradine Dohrn that influence Hussein Obama's philosophy.
We also know for a fact that Hussein Obama and his wife sat for twenty (20) years listening to the anti-American hate philosophy taught his spriritual advisor, Rev. "Dr." Jeremiah Wright.
We also know for a fact that Hussein Obama is simply a common THUG.
I'll go with what I already know neo-neocon, without actually drinking the Kool-Aid.

Watch this
Disturbing Video.. The problem isn't the man in the McCain/Palin tee shirt.. The problem is the mob who would start a riot over a man in a McCain/Palin tee shirt.. Once again the wrong people get persecuted. Just wait for the ObamaNation "Civilian National Security Forces."

If we wait, we’ll be caught flat-footed in a tidal wave of “O”gasmic liberalism.
We need to spin up now - because our opponent already is as well!

Well, if one stands back and takes a deep breath the stench would be overpowering.
I’m really getting tired of being told to calm down. No. It’s about time for conservatives to not calm down and not compromise. I’ve said it over and over, Obama Derangement Syndrome is NOT possible. He IS what you fear he is. What you know he is. He and his associates. I cannot wait for him to fall on his face. I only hope it doesn’t damage the country when he does.
