We’ve all heard of Bush Derangement Syndrome.
It afflicted mostly Cambridge types fearful that the big-belt-buckled Texan was eavesdropping on their BlackBerry calls.
Then there was Sarah Palin Derangement Syndrome.
Herald readers believe it’s afflicted me.
But now, proving that derangement knows no partisan divide, Obama Derangement Syndrome (ODS) has taken hold. And he’s not even been elected for a week.
If you Google, “Impeach Obama,” you get a million and a half references.
Facebook already has “Impeach Obama” - or more to the point, “Barack Hussein Obama” - sites, with thousands of members. “Americans do not fully understand the concept of Socialism or Communism which is why they’ve elected Obama,” says one.

Funny, but all the conservative “wingnuts” I know are urging that we pray for our new president-elect, not for the success of his programs, but for protection and wisdom. I wonder how many of the leftist “wingnuts” were praying for Bush?
Clinton never got more than 50% of the vote. He was elected in the first place with only a plurality of 43%.
