HYDERABAD, India, Nov. 8 (UPI) -- About 6,000 Muslim clerics from around India approved a fatwa against terrorism Saturday at a conference in Hyderabad.
Maulana Qari Mohammad Usman Mansoorpuri, president of the Jamaiat-Ulama-i-Hind, called terrorism the most serious problem facing Islam, The Hindu reported. He blamed Islamic radicals for their actions and the news media for failing to distinguish between the radicals and the majority of Muslims.
"We have no love for offenders whichever religion they might belong to," he said. "Our concern is that innocents should not be targeted and the career of educated youth not ruined. The government should ensure transparency in investigation."
India has the world's second-largest Muslim population after Indonesia, although Hindus outnumber Muslims. The meeting was also expected to address issues like national integration.
"Islam rejects all kinds of unjust violence, breach of peace, bloodshed, murder and plunder and does not allow it in any form. Cooperation should be done for the cause of good but not for committing sin or oppression," the fatwa written at the Darul Uloom Deoband, India's foremost Islamic seminary.
This is better than turning Iraq security over to Iraqis... if you trust them.
Twaddle. There is no distinction. It is a mongrel religion created to provide faith and inspiration to those who would kill and subjugate others while providing a governing blueprint for tyranny over the masses. Its high water mark was the 12th century. You do not trust, turn your back on, or turn your other cheek to, these people. Their goal is the destruction of Western Civilization. To argue otherwise is mentally arthritic.
More like there is nobody in DC willing to put Pakistan in a box and under control so now India needs to launch a missive to warn Pakis that if their crap spills over the border into India, they won’t have a safe haven.

This fatwa has only one goal: to try to convince hindus that the majority of muslims are not radicals or potential terrorists or that the majority supports the radicals. The goal is to stop the more forceful steps towards real integration that the Hindu majority may think are necessary otherwise.
The clerics use words which mean totally other things in the muslim doctrine than what we mean. No persons other than muslims are “innocent”. It is true that “Islam rejects all kinds of unjust violence, breach of peace, bloodshed etc”. But what radical muslims do is not seen as “unjust” in the doctrine. It is part of jihad. No recognized clerics anywhere say that Osama Bin Laden is not a good muslim following anything else than the approved doctrine. What he is critized for is that he is too hasty and is attacking West before the muslims are enough strong to follow up the attacks.
“Cooperation should be done for the cause of good but not for committing sin or oppression”. “The cause of the good” means what is good for muslims. So what it means is that muslims shall not cooperate with the authorities if it can have any negative effect for any muslim.
All Americans must learn more about the muslim doctrince so they don´t get cheated when muslims talk. This fatwa is pure deception.

To fundamentalist Muslims, objecting to Islamic domination is “oppression”.
Hydrabad and Bangalore are major US outsourcing locales.
Any bad stuff that happens to the US will severely impact the folks in both those cities. Many large US corporations have corporate offices in those cities, and the workers are employess of the US corporations, as opposed to those of us here in the US who have been outsourced and now work as contractors to those same corporations.
Sour grapes aside, attacks on those cities = attacks on the US. I would expect to read US-friendly articles from those cities.

The Peace of Saladin was to buy time to rearm. If they know their Koran, and they do, violence is quite acceptable for the spread of Islam, and the lives of the infidel count for nothing. Either they’re backslidden or they’re lying.
